" March 24, 2026 5.0 I have been using PayPal for several years and have never had any issues. Transfers are quick and reliable, together with a clear log of every cent coming or going. I will gladly recommend its use to anyone, in fact I've done so several times. Pros PayPal is a convenient and easy way to do business both nationally and internationally. It has an easy to use interface and can be used to both pay and be paid by anybody anywhere in the world. It is also extremely safe, there is no reason to be concerned about your privacy or funds. Cons While the app is American, it is understandable that it would be easiest to get your money into an American bank account. This can however be a little more tricky for other countries as sometimes they only work with one of that country's banks, so unless you're already using that specific bank, you either need to open a new account or hope for some sort of bypass through that bank to your own. It removes the friction from getting paid. For a freelancer or small business owner, the peace of mind knowing that I will get paid on time (or at least have PayPal automatically remind the client) is worth its weight in gold. I deducted one star purely because of the fees and the slightly outdated interface on the web, but for reliability and ease of use, it’s a solid tool. Pros What I appreciate most is the sheer convenience and speed. Creating and sending a professional-looking invoice takes less than two minutes, even from the mobile app. I love that I don't have to chase clients for payment; the system sends them reminders, and the "Pay Now" button makes it effortless for them to pay via card or their own PayPal balance. Pros Very ease to use, you can easily control your Expense Management by checking your expense history and category, the customer support is also good, I submitted a ticket about its marketing event, which was responded within 3 days. Cons Some feature only can be used in some platform without clear instruction, for example, if I want to convert concurrency in the wallet, I met difficulty in APP. I can only do it in laptop. The hold times of donations made through PayPal giving and fees associated with giving and purchases are hard on small businesses and small non-profits. Pros PayPal is easy to integrate and set up as a form of payment processing for giving donations and for purchasing products from my small non-profit. PayPal does make invoicing customers and clients less of a hassle. Cons The fees and hold times of donations and income. I've lived using this application for over 10 years and until they take it off the playstore I'll continue to use it! Pros I've been using payal for more than 10 years now! My favorite things about the Paypal App are the layout & the ability to manage my finances on a closer spectrum. Any time I've had any issues & contacted customer support, they've always taken care of me & resolved all of my issues to the absolute best of their abilities! The overall functionity & the ability to keep a closer eye on all of my finances & my expenses is key to my financial situation. Additionally, one of my favorite things a out Paypal is that you can choose to have a personal use account, or a business use account. Each account type offers you different functions, which adds to the overall perfection that is a financially based mobile application. I can assure you, you'll never find another app quite as perfect as the Paypal App. Cons In my honest opinion, there's not a whole lot about the Paypal app that i didn't really enjoy when i was using it. But hard to debug without help" November 14, 2025 3.0 It was easy at first to implement PayPal because we had an account executive that was very helpful. I really was happy at the increase of engagement and users when we add a PayPal because it made it easy for them to buy our product. However, when we came to an issue, we discovered that our account executive had been removed and hadn’t been replaced. Therefore, we had no one to speak to, and I spent hours on the phone trying to debug what was going on. After we got it fixed, it did work fall asleep. But I was always nervous we would have another issue and we wouldn’t be able to fix it. At the end of the day, it’s a huge company and I understand that they can’t always allocate resources on smaller businesses, but there should be an easier way to ask for customer service than what they have in place now. Pros A lot of people use PayPal so it was an essential part of adding it to our payment experience. When we did have an account person working with us, they were very responsive and generally helped us try to troubleshoot when we had problems with implementation or questions about the spread of users. Cons Our account executive was pulled off of our account without letting us know. Aside from being a great tool, they have a great team and they really focus on helping you as a small business Pros Gave us a low cost option to take payments over the phone and also is a secondary payment processor we use for our website. Which allows users of paypal to checkout quicker on our site. In addition - our subscription program handles its re-billing through paypal.
