My overall experience is positive - and I really respect and prefer to use this product in 100% of my transactions when it is available.

Pros

I enjoy the ease of use of Paypal. It always links to my accounts and my transactions appear immediately. It feels safe and when I have an issue I am able to cancel transactions and request refunds when a vendor is suspicious or has been unfair or a scam.

Cons

I did have 1 incident where paypal was hard to reach concerning my issue and I had to write for help - I would really appreciate an easier to reach call center

Good, I have been using PayPal for myself and the business for over 18 years. We also use Braintree by PayPal for the business

Pros

Customer Support, Ease of Use, Invoicing, Customization. Those are some of the best feature for us.

Cons

fees for processing and transactions are high, sometimes security can be an issue but overall especially for business transactions we never had an issue.

Easy to use as a bookkeeper and keep it running alongside your accounting software. Getting a bank feed set up is best!

Pros

It's really simply laid out on the web so you can easily see what's getting paid out and refunded in. As well as the ability to add a feed to Xero which will send everything in, love that. It's also good to see which account a payment has come from if a client uses more than on bank account. Reports are in-depth too

Cons

I can't see anywhere that you can get a running balance of what you have sitting in your PayPal or holding accounts apart from your current balance. So it's hard to double check something in the past is correct. There are reports where you can see all transactions but they take a while to understand

Overall, Paypal is my go-to for sending and receiving money. I've used it for personal and professional purposes and it has never disappointed.

Pros

I like the convenience of being able to easily send/receive money both from friends and family but also for business. It's super convenient to be able to connect more than one email account. I've also found the invoice function handy in my business. I also like that you can opt to only transfer a portion of your balance to your bank account at any given time.

Cons

It takes a little bit of digging to get past the closest transactions and I feel like there might be a better way to organize purchases and incoming money (especially when it's possible to have it coming from different sources)

Decent use for connecting with varying consumers purchases, basic uses are helpful, and give access to quick payments

Pros

Ease of being paid, and use between accounts for moving around funds for making payments, and using the PayPal card if chosen.

Cons

Feels often like it is hacked or use by scammers for taking advantage of people who have accounts and security is low.

I have always had a positive experience with PayPal it is so easy to use and integrate into websites and using it for purchases

Pros

I have always used PayPal as I feel it is a lot safer when ordering products from overseas as there is more protection and I have also integrated it into my websites and booking apps due to its ease of use and accessible invoicing , refunds , customer support , bugs and issues value for money and customization.

Cons

I have never had any issues with PayPal so I can not say that there is anything that I dislike fortunately

Sending and receiving money is so easy, and I love that it works almost anywhere online. Whether I’m buying something from a small shop or splitting a bill with friends, it’s just a few clicks away. Overall, PayPal has made my online transactions a lot smoother, and I really can’t complain!

Pros

I've been using PayPal for a while now, and I have to say, I really appreciate its buyer and seller protections. There’s something reassuring about knowing that my financial details stay hidden from merchants. It makes me feel a lot safer when making purchases online.

Cons

I’ve been using PayPal for a while now, and while I appreciate its convenience, I have to say that reaching their customer support can be quite frustrating. More often than not, it feels like I’m stuck in a never-ending loop of automated responses before I can actually speak to a real person. When I finally do get through, the resolution times can be pretty lengthy, leaving me feeling like my issues aren’t being prioritized.
