I didn't have any problems finding my way around the program. I really enjoy being able to look at the status of assessments I have sent out. It makes it easy to keep track of which patients have or have not completed their assessment. The features are great as well; I can resend an assessment without any issues. Also, the addition of adding diagnostic criteria for substance use disorders was very helpful. Pros I really like that there are windows to let me take extra notes. Cons This is the first product of this type I have used, so I dont really have any complaints. From an administrative point of view that is extremely helpful for a couple of reasons. It is not time consuming as clients can access and complete it easily so there are little to no questions or complications from clients. It's important for providers to have something to review before meeting with their clients and clients do not always want to share background information with assistants so it's nice to have the information on the form for the provider to review before meeting their client. It is easy to use and includes questions that help create a comprehensive impression of patient's experiences. Using this assessment form has helped us cut down on the time needed to collect information necessary for assessment and diagnosis and puts it into a quick and easy template for writing up clinical reports. It also includes a great feature to convert to a document that can be uploaded into patient files in our EHR. Overall it's great tool that helps save you on time and money! Cons There has been a glitch in converting to word documents that caused us to use more credits than needed but doesn't happen frequently. I will continue to use it and recommend it to anyone wanting an effective and efficient way to gain an overall picture of a client's life and wellbeing. Pros What I like most about this software is the ability to easily capture a significant amount of information from new clients in a short amount of time. I also thoroughly enjoy being able to add information to the alcohol and drug section as that is usually the most time consuming. I am able to send the form to the client and they can fill out the intake information before they come to the appointment. I then have the time in the appointment to learn about the client, the issues they are facing, and when more assessment may be indicated. When the appointment is over, I can quickly put together my IDI within 20 minutes which not only saves me time, but gives me peace of mind. Pros Ease of use and that I can send this to the client to fill out beforehand from the comfort of their own home. Cons I would like for there to be an MSE built in as well. Pros This feature is so easily accessible and helpful when performing various assessments we need. This product provides a safe and affordable platform in order to most accurately depict the clients current state. This program supplies everything I need to most accurately assess the client. The Herdman Assessmetn Form is very easy to use. Pros It is user friendly and the patient can fill out their history before I see them. This saves me half an hour to an hour. The printed narrative is very well written based on the patient's answers and then my interpretation, diagnosis and recommendations. Cons There is not a mental status exam option. Pros I like the summary that's generated at the end of the assessment. It's professional-sounding and succinct. Cons An option to include questions, especially ones my organization requires, would be good. Also, and this will get better as I get used to using it, the questions in the program don't exactly follow the order in the ASI.
