Overall, while Workast has several strengths, I would recommend it primarily for smaller projects and tasks. Its ease of use, plethora of features, and great customer service make it an excellent piece of software for smaller project management needs. However, for small companies, the cost can be prohibitive. If Workast were to improve its user experience for managing larger projects, address issues such as quicker progress assessment, and reduce its price, I would recommend this in a heartbeat.

Pros

Overall, Workast is a solid tool that's easy to learn and deploy. My team quickly picked up on it, and initially, it greatly improved our organization and progress tracking. The software is feature-rich, covering almost every aspect needed for project and task management. Customer service has been excellent and incredibly helpful whenever assistance was needed. Additionally, their in-depth FAQ and help center make it easy to find answers to any questions.

Cons

Unfortunately, my team found that Workast did not meet our expectations for tracking large and multiple projects. As projects grew in size, tasks often got buried and became difficult to manage due to the software's layout. It was less visually intuitive, making it hard to quickly determine the progress and status of tasks, which is important when balancing over 50 tasks. Additionally, compared to other task and project management software, Workast is significantly more expensive and felt less user-friendly.

Pros

Why wouldn't you love Workast? It greatly simplifies your life. Without it, I'd be lost. In my work, I use it for both individual and team activities, and I've even included personal items. I absolutely love it since it's straightforward, simple to use, and helps me advance and achieve my objectives. My entire team is on the same page with projects and duties thanks to Workast, and I always know what to put first in my business. I also like the various views that the software offers, including lists, calendars, tasks, and timelines. It helps me see the big picture of what's going on.

For task and project management, we use Workast. I enjoy how Workast allows me to easily create a to do list in Slack. The online app for Workast offers excellent functionality as well. I can readily see all I need to do on the kanban board, and navigating across it is simple. I also love their Board feature.

We love it and it has greatly improved our ability to get tasks completed on time.

Workast is an amazing task management app for our Slack team. We run an agency and we used Workast to manage projects and clients. We also used Workast for daily to-dos and task management. I love that Workast sends reminders each day of the work that needs to be done. As the manager of the team, I was able to see an overview of all the tasks the team needs to work on a weekly basis. I can move tasks around or manage priorities. Workast is easy to use and the team members were able to learn how to use Workast quickly. My team found Workast easy to use and they used it predominantly in Slack. They would complete tasks in Slack and review all their work in there. I found the Workast web app really useful for task management and managing my team.

Cons

I don't really have any. Workast works great for my team and we love that it integrates with Slack.

Our team uses Workast and Slack for our SEO and content work. We write content for blogs and clients. We use Workast to manage our content schedu​​​​​le and it has been really helpful in organising everything that we need to do. We can plan out our articles with the Workast timeline and the due dates help our team to stay on track. I especially like how I can use Workast in Slack. I can quickly see what tasks are coming up for the day and I can work on the articles with the highest priority. The team finds Workast really easy to use which is a bonus because switching to new task management apps can be hard sometimes.

Pros

We use Workast for task management and project management. I like how I can create tasks in a Slack channel quickly with Workast. The reminders in Slack also help me to keep track of the work that I need to do. I can complete tasks from Slack and it is super easy to use. Workast also has great features in the web app. The kanban board is easy to navigate and I can easily see everything I need to do. I love their meetings feature as well.

Cons

There are a lot of different features that can be customized to your team such as lists, tags and custom fields. I like these features but you have to think about how to set them up first before using them. Once they are set up, they are amazing. That would be the only downside.
