Easy to use and great local support.

Cons

Finding things can be hard at first as well as setting up form letters, but online and phone help made it easy.

works great with our RV Resort reservations

Pros

software is good...most interested in the customer service !! Anytime I have had any issues they have been taken care of by Angie. I have been involved since the beginning with selecting RMS and have worked with and still have access to and talk with Todd Sabo occasionally . I believe you all use our property and set-up as a model for prospective clients

Cons

can't really say anything bad about the software...every once in awhile it glitches out but it's software !!!

Pros

Easy to navigate around without any training.

Cons

I find that after printing a few invoices it takes the paper through the printer but doesn't print the invoice/receipt. I then PDF the invoice/receipt which works for a while until I get a message that tells me the cache is full. I then have to sign off and back on again to right the situation. Not sure if this a program thing or a problem with my computer/printer. Otherwise it all works fine.

Customer service can be very hit and miss and with extreme contrast. The product is easy to use and easy to train new staff with. The small changes that are frequently made are not always helpful and often seem to complicate previously clear tasks. Overall we will stick with RMS for now however it would be better if we could sell easily book tours, dinner and experiences with it.

Pros

practical and simple with flexibility...but this would not submit without the dots!!!!

Cons

frequent changes which have added more steps to simple tasks.

Pros

RMS is a user friendly program, intuitive program that helps to make complicated and complex work easier to manage. Inventory & rates management is made easy. The quality of detail data that RMS enables you to extract makes it a valuable business management tool - it puts information at your fingertips. Support is first rate - they can be relied upon to resolve issues quickly.

Cons

As an infrequent user I find the menu titles a little hard to navigate. The terminology used is sometimes not how I would expect a certain area of functionality to be described.

Keeps track of sundries Rep is always there to help us with whatever we need, he is awesome!

Cons

The 1 thing I do not like about RMS is the fact when you go to cancel an reservation, you have to go thru 1000 steps and then back thru them just to cancel 1 reservation. Voiding and then canceling and voiding again. All employees think the same way that I do.

Looking for a better system.

Pros

It links to OTA's quite well, basic bones are ok. Booking Chart works ok. Reservation input screen average.

Cons

Continually change things without letting you know and constantly making the processes more inefficient and requiring more and more work. Reports dont add up.

Pros

Quite easy to use once it has been set up properly

Cons

System possibly not suited to our small business but have used in larger business so continued to use. Help line is really good so most of my problems have been solved. Trying to mix tourists and backpacker accounting has been a challenge. It works on a daily basis well. Generally I am happy with what it provides but I am certain that I only use a small portion of the programme.

Pros

Easy to access from anywhere on the internet. Customizable maps and color schemes.

Cons

Very complex. Cumbersome group reservations. Basics are fine, but when you need to extend a reservation or move it part way through the timeframe the financial calculations get messed up. Very complex daily report. Best for an accrual basis accounting system setup. Updating pricing can be very complex. Sales tax reporting is challenging.

### "Reservation Accounting fix"

We try to minimize the need to call the help centre as much as possible. The help centre support has been greatly improved in recent times. The staff are happy to assist solve our issues. The RMS system is very open and customisable, for someone with little IT experience this can be a little daunting.

Pros

It is a Complete package covering all aspects of our business.

Cons

Invoicing. Recent changes to tariff setup. Print client

Reason for choosing RMS

It was the most suitable for our industry at the time.

I love the customer service, they are amazing, so quick, so good. Just the customer service alone is worth having this product.

Pros

It's reasonably easy to use and as the years go by I am learning more and more about it. The tutorials that the customer representative gives are most enlightening and I've learned heaps from those.

Cons

It crashes at least once/day. Generally the busy part of the day.

I have used RMS at numerous Quest properties on and off for 10 plus years and RMS is easy to use and simple enough to train to new team members. We love it!!

Pros

The Help you actually receive @ the help desk. They are always polite, helpful and follow through with calling you back if need be. Excellent Customer Service!!

Cons

Cost - cheaper monthly fees would be ideal

Years back the user guide for the API was lackluster. Many reports don't generate. The reporting has gotten better-thanks.

Reporting is beginning to help now that reports pull properly.

We had issues that were not necessarily software related but could have had to do with the upgrade however it was a Relief issue that has been resolved

The support team is always cheerful and very supportive even when you are just missing something simple, They go out of their way to assist without making you feel you are wasting her time.

### "RMS new account user"

We were all running on one program which only one person at a time could use. We would also sign in and mess up others who were putting in a reservation. This also helped with the space we saved as far as on a computer which we were running out of storage space for all the info.

Pros

I have enjoyed the new system as our old one would never let us do the things we get to do now. We have three people who take care of this lodge for the owner and this new system has gave us more customer info than before and hold deposit for room's. As well as let us on the system all at one time. Loved all the training we got as a group and it helped make us great with the RMS system for our customers.

Cons

Sometimes the training was hard with three people who were not in the same room but it was nothing you need to change. I did have to learn about how customer leave deposits on their booking that i didn't know about. But i was able to play with our website and find the report and record the transactions.

Pros

Calendar - can move reservations around by simply dragging the res, although sometimes glitchy Can copy to training - good for new learners

Cons

Quick quote should be easier to read when its highlighted for more than 1 day, a lot of info listed but no break down for avg daily rate before tax. Certain places like the drop down and required area need multiple clicks before you can enter info.

We listen to the concerns of our clients and recently made modifications to the quick quote screen to make transactions time as fast as possible.
