PromoTix is an event ticketing platform for in-person and virtual events. It was created by event organizers who wanted more from their ticketing company and were tired of losing profits due to high ticket service fees. Overall, PromoTix was super easy to use to set up an event and creating the event was super quick to do. I would recommend this to other people who are looking to sell tickets for an event.

Pros

PromoTix was super easy to use and familiarize myself with, setting up an event was seamless and easy.

Cons

The only thing that I would list as a con is that setting up a payment option can be a little buggy.

Very helpfull, lot's of support on internet or via Zoom. I think for large events it's a good way to sell tickets. Various options to keep track of ticket sales and to retreive (guest/visitor) lists.

Pros

The online help was always available. Lot of different possibilities to built a website and sell your tickets. On your website you can only upload horizontal pictures and rather small pictures.

Cons

You get a lot of mails with tips for better sales (which I understand), but we organize a small private event, so for me it's just filling my inbox. I had to fill in an URL about my event in Stripe and I didn't have one, I adapted my LinkedIn. It would be great if you could choose the website you make on Promotix for this. Some visitors think you have to give too much personal information when buying the tickets.

I have a lot of questions and I am not the best with the latest technology. Promotix made it a very easy transition to their platform. I would highly recommend their company. All of my questions and concerns were addresses and they have great follow-up.

Pros

Personal service with additional built in marketing techniques. Step by step instructions and very easy access to questions and concerns.

Cons

I do not have any concerns at this time.

Very user friendly. The reporting system is great so I could keep track of my attendees and the events/items they purchased/registered for.

Pros

The platform is so easy to use! Very user friendly.

Cons

I had to be creative on adding CME disclaimers. For example, we needed to get permission from attendees to share contact info with vendors. There was not a place to add that box.
