Typically you'd expect a desktop app like QGIS to perform better than a cloud-based offering, however the opposite is true with Scribble Maps. It easily handled tasks that crash QGIS! Pros Easy of use, performance, ability to handle tasks that crash QGIS! Cons This could be a positive for some, but the Photoshop-like UI took a bit of getting used to for me. However, the incredibly detailed customer service I received revealed most of those "bugs" to be user error, while the remaining ones were reacted to excitedly as an opportunity to improve the interface. This experience absolutely elevated my rating of scribble maps to a 10. However once learned the program is as effective as you could wish for. Pros El Software es muy intuitivo, permite utilizarlo de manera sencilla, tiene un buen aspecto gráfico y las funciones de dibujar rutas, polígonos ha permitido en mi empresa generar mapas de límites para una mejor organización del trabajo y responsabilidad de cada Jefe de Área, es muy amigable su interface. Cons Actualmente en la versión gratuita ya no permite la exportación de mapas en formato KML, la cuál fue una función muy importante al momento de generar mapas, los mapas son fáciles de elaborar, requieren ir poco a poco familiarizándose con el Software sin embargo las últimas actualizaciones han restado está función, lo que ya no permite descargar capas en formato KML para su integración con Arcgis por ejemplo, algo que yo usaba muy comúnmente. Pros I use this software DAILY. SSES has consumers that are referred daily; it is our job to find in what catchment area the consumer lives and assign to the correct case manager. This process used to take me double the amount of time before ScribbleMaps was implemented. Before we were using paper maps, with colored pencil boarders! Pros Software is intuitive. Creating maps is quick and easy. Being able to duplicate existing maps saves time. Really like the storage feature for completed maps. Cons Once you have picked an icon, it would nice if that was visible to click on and reuse again in the same map.
