Everything that we had presented Safety chain has handled very well and fast. You have to be one of the fastest responding companies i have seen. Pros Customer support- \[sensitive content hidden\] was great to work with and was quick to respond and set up meetings. Super helpful. Cons Nothing really- Maybe some functionality and security issues. Some of the security features don't allow us to do what we want but we understand why. Pros Collecting data in a digital format, less physical papers. Cons There are some features that are under-developed, particularly in the OEE section. Setting up the system is not as user friendly as it could be, it is not intuitive. Lots of opportunity for company growth. Great data collection and mining agent. Cons Difficult for new developers. Not intuitive for them. Better suited for advanced developers especially companies with difficult processes. The support from the customer service team and project management teams has been incredible as we have worked on an implementation strategy. Pros Our organization has been looking for a modern solution to data collection and SafetyChain has delivered! It's ease of use for the end user is unparalleled and has been extremely easy for our monitors to adopt. There are an incredible number of features and customizations that can be made using simple coding that make the platform very dynamic. Cons SafetyChain is very structured and as a result has seemed to be best designed for a single facility, or small number of facilities. The management of the resources, users, SKUs etc. for a large enterprise has proven to be a challenge without significant integrations into other programs. Cons Some features still have room to be more user friendly. We have noticed some persistent bugs with timing out when building forms that have yet to be resolved. I worked with Plant View at Tyson so I am anxious to see how this one compares and what improvements there are with this platform compared to plant view. Pros Safety chain is very robust and we have only scratched the surface of what it will do for us. I look forward to what I can learn here and take back and apply to our system. Cons I would like to see some hands on training that could be done either off or on site. From time to time we have new users and like myself we have to just figure out what Safety Chain can do. Cons Forms designer feature needs more options to make the editions faster, one example is the alphabetization of lists included in the "element properties" segment of the form. SafetyChain has made compliance a lot easier to manage, communicate and develop stronger relationships with our suppliers. Pros Best feature for our company was that the software could be tailored to your company specific needs. Flexibility and ease of use stands out from the rest. Being able to serve on behalf of the company as well as supplier is a key difference that stands out above the rest. The supplier portal is easy and straight forward (it's just an inbox!) Price is reasonable for all the features offered. Cons Analytical features for reporting are somewhat limited but there are easy work- arounds for most reporting needs. I feel like it is a good management tool for this. I just wish there weee a few tweaks for things that would make things easier for us or our customers. Pros I feel like the software is pretty intuitive and lots of things I need to do I can figure out how to do on my own. Cons It seems to be very rigid in its programming.
