Cons SafetyChain is still growing and has some opportunity to learn from Industry on what is necessary to make the platform more user-friendly. There are also some opportunities with larger enterprises as far as managing multi-facilities under a single QMS system. It definitely a change for the better for my company. Pros The support that I've receive throughout the process has been fantastic. The support team make you feel that you're not transitioning alone when starting to used the software. Safety Chain is used for document management. Using the software this way, it eliminates the long paper process that we had in the past Cons The amount of emails when a supplier is overdue is just a small issue with the software. Digital transformation is easy but implementing is challenging due to the human aspect on the plant floor. Cons Would have liked to have more/better reporting features and options with more customization. Better suited for advanced developers especially companies with difficult processes. Everything that we had presented Safety chain has handled very well and fast. You have to be one of the fastest responding companies i have seen. Cons Nothing really- Maybe some functionality and security issues. Some of the security features don't allow us to do what we want but we understand why. The support from the customer service team and project management teams has been incredible as we have worked on an implementation strategy. Pros Our organization has been looking for a modern solution to data collection and SafetyChain has delivered! It's ease of use for the end user is unparalleled and has been extremely easy for our monitors to adopt. There are an incredible number of features and customizations that can be made using simple coding that make the platform very dynamic. Cons SafetyChain is very structured and as a result has seemed to be best designed for a single facility, or small number of facilities. The management of the resources, users, SKUs etc. for a large enterprise has proven to be a challenge without significant integrations into other programs. Pros It is very configurable, they have solutions to fit almost any need and can customize options to fit those outside of the norm. Pros Collecting data in a digital format, less physical papers. Cons There are some features that are under-developed, particularly in the OEE section. Setting up the system is not as user friendly as it could be, it is not intuitive. I worked with Plant View at Tyson so I am anxious to see how this one compares and what improvements there are with this platform compared to plant view. Pros Safety chain is very robust and we have only scratched the surface of what it will do for us. I look forward to what I can learn here and take back and apply to our system. Cons I would like to see some hands on training that could be done either off or on site. From time to time we have new users and like myself we have to just figure out what Safety Chain can do.
