From the editable filters to the expansive reporting. Tableau is the best out there, especially for the price. Pros Tableau is the most comprehensive metric tracking platform out there. The report features are unmatched. Very user friendly once you get the hang of it. Cons The only thing is it takes some time to learn and get used to but as soon as you figure it out it’s smooth sailing. Really nothing else is negative about the platform. For a sporting goods distributor our size, it's justified the investment through better territory planning and faster pipeline visibility, though I wish the pricing scaled better. Pros I can finally see our regional performance without having to wait on IT to run reports. Building out territory comparisons and product line dashboards only takes about 20 minutes, once you’ve got the hang of where everything is. Honestly, my team actually looks at the numbers now. Since the visuals make sense, people are way more engaged. Connecting our CRM data with inventory levels helps me spot which products are moving where, so I can adjust our focus pretty quickly. Cons The licensing cost really hit our budget hard for a mid-sized operation like ours. Training took way longer than expected, too, it wasn't exactly pick-up-and-go for sales folks who aren't really data people. Some of the chart customizations take more clicks than they should. Cons Now I am used to it, but I found in the beginning it was hard to navigate the setup of site. When we onboard new users I see them struggling as well when trying to learn all the features.
