January 25, 2023 5.0 I was skeptical at first when the owners announced we were trying a Route Optimization Product. Before we were using physicals maps and phone mapping systems that worked well inside cities, but not so much when it came to rural areas and Private Roads. After a few weeks with GroundCloud I noticed that all drivers were able to increase their workload and reduce their delivery day, because they were not spending time having to organize the vehicles or saving addresses to their phone mapping system. GroundCloud has been a huge time saver in delivering, training, and vehicle maintenance and there is a huge amount of stress added when the GroundCloud App is not working, but that is extremely unlikely and whatever the issue is they are quick to respond and find a solution to get it working as soon as they can. Pros With YouTube videos and Driver Training Course it very easy to set forth expectations for new and current drivers. Training drivers on new routes has never been easier due to GroundCloud App being simple to use. Cons Having a Signature block to have drivers get while at deliveries would be so helpful. Being able to label each delivery's location such as front door, garage, gate, met customer, etc. would be great in case our main scanner malfunctioned. The fact that you basically send anyone anywhere with this tablet is great Cons I would love it if you could put some type of notes when your planning your route that after this stop I need to turn around. When you hit mark delivered and go the GPS doesn't remember what way you were heading or what your route flow was. " January 25, 2023 5.0 Ground cloud made it available to hire a driver with minimal experience and give him the ground cloud app on the tablet and he/she will deliver as if an experienced driver. Pros The map and navigation of this platform is important because my drivers can see every stop on the map and navigate to it in a second. The product is super easy to use. The integration processes with my ground cloud was extremely easy . Cons What could improve is setting a time that a driver can not login for example: I tell my crew that the start time is 9am. We have recommended it to everyone we interact with in our industry. There is no other tool that provides nearly as many features as GroundCloud. It is pretty neat to be able to say that because they were one of the first to market and no one is even close to catching them at this point. Pros It makes complex tasks simple and easy to manage. This software helps us manage multiple routes spread out across states. We always have a pulse on our business and have built our entire business processes around this tool. I couldn't imagine operating our businesses without this tool. It is/was a true game changer in our industry! Cons In all very impressed with all the different features. Knit picky really, but I wish the automatically upload was more reliable. As well, I wish we could group our company into smaller teams and just let the manager dashboards, as well as communication suite, cater to a smaller/sub-team approach. Right now everything is catered to a company level, which sometimes doesn't lend well to larger organizations. Reason for choosing GroundCloud When comparing the other apps there wasn't one that checked nearly the number of boxes GroundCloud did. Pros This software is so easy to use even for beginners groundcloud has helped to make them successful from their very first day delivering packages. It keeps us in compliance with every aspect of our business. Cons There are some things that could be better with the software but in my opinion groundcloud is working everyday to make changes and updates to the software that’s keeps them one step ahead of their competitors. That itself pays for the subscription. Unmatched customer service as well. Cons There really isn't anything that I don't love about the GroundCloud service.
