I has helped my managers stay more organized and top of the important contract aspects I want them focused on. Pros All in one app, do not have to use anything else to manage my business end to end. Routing, tracking, compliance, etc. Cons Better apartment routing option. Subzones are great for business suites and gates codes, etc. However it is not the greatest solution for apartment routing. Reason for choosing GroundCloud I wanted a hands free option that addressed all FedEx compliance issues, plus an option that would evolve with ever the changing P&D business, which GC has. It takes the thinking about how to the job down quite a bit so we can focus more on driving and delivering safely. I’d recommend it to anyone who’s skeptical, and I’m not alone on that. Pros The list is long, but to put it simply, it’s a fantastic program. It makes training new hires much more efficiently, safely, and quickly. Helps all drivers simplify their routes to run them as best as possible for them. Cons Not really anything I don’t like about it to be honest. The GPS tracking of drivers on the road on the .io could use some improvement to help better track in real time, but not a huge negative. Review Source JW Jeremy W. It made training and new drivers excel at a quicker pace than the previous routing system. Pros Highly accurate turn by turn directions for any driver to step into an area they've never been in and excel. The ability to move stops to another driver and manipulate the routing is key to a lot of my drivers. Also, the ability to see where every driver was located at any given time is critical for me and my management. Cons I am sure there are cons, but I can't think of any at the moment. I can't imagine running a FedEx Ground business without Groundcloud. The software allowed me to keep my administrative overhead lean and my business super efficient. With actionalble data at my fingertips at any moment, I was able to make quick decisions to keep my company moving in a positive direction. I would definitely choose them again and would pay more for it - it was that good!! Pros It is easy to use and a complete service offering. Thier customer service was excellent always answering the phone, even on weekends. Better yet, they never stop improving the software. The pace at which they roll out new features was amazing. They worked with contractors to understand the needs and are outstanding at creating solutions. It is real bargain for the amount of features and benefits that come with the program. Cons Most of the cons they resolved over time. I was wanting the ability to send a message out to the entire team at one time and for a while that was not possible. I think that is a feature now of the Pro version. Cons are hard to come by. All of my drivers use the program everyday with very few issues. Pros I really love the fact that I can set up the pre and post checks for my drivers so that they get the reminder and also can be held accountable for not doing the checks. Also love the fact with being able to map your route out the way that you would like to run it makes it easy to run any route you are assigned to. Another pro is the safety test have to be completed before a driver can see the map. Cons I feel like the timecard and approval should be available in the base version vs now it is only used in the pro. I need the time clock for my business. It was easier to use when it was part of the base program. I have used a lot of different software programs in various industries. GroundCloud feels like it was built to make my life easier in every way. Its a product that solves so many problems for FedEx contractors, I could not imagine not having it. Pros GroundCloud incorporates so many features into one product. From training, to safety obligations, to maintenance records, to real time status of my drivers. GroundCloud automatically forces several levels of contractual compliance with FedEx through its design. GroundCloud customer support is top notch. They always pick up quickly, and every person I have ever spoken to was helpful and knowledgeable. GroundCloud makes my job much easier. Cons Honestly I cannot think of anything bad to say about it. As I mentioned,, there isn't much I don't use or like about Groundcloud. It is critical to our operation. Pros The best features are the real-time GPS tracking, progress updating, and maintenance tracking. They make our daily routine less complicated and more turn-key. Cons I don't really have much that I don't like, other than some features only being available through the Pro version. It was too much of an additional cost to swallow for us. The program really helps us run a good company. Pros Route stats is a great tool to assist in your everyday management of your fleet and how routes should be ran each day. This feature also allows you to compare year to year to assist in peak planning. Cons Not many features I dislike except that I am having an issues with assigning drivers in the driver schedule and route schedule section. Driver training is easier. I can get them on the road quicker making money. Driver retention is much hire. My overall experience in using GroundCloud is beyond 5 stars. The only way that I can describe GroundCloud is this by using this example: Your whole life you are used to Buying and then eating a steak purchased at Wal-mart. Then all of the sudden you are introduced to "Wagu Beef". And you discover that for the same price, or really close to it, you can now have Wagu! Pros Change your stop order on the fly with click and drag or customize your delivery zones. Create notes and make address corrections for stops and GroundCloud REMEMBERS! Only do it once and it's in there forever so each time that address comes up it's automatically corrected and the notes are there. Keep track of your fleet with live tracking. Keep track of vehicle maintenance and mileage. Daily safety messages. The list quite honestly goes on and on and on and on....... Cons I wish I could use GroundCloud on multiple platforms. Pros I enjoy the overall functionality of the product both on the fleet manager side and as a driver. Makes the job 10x easier! Cons If I had to nitpick, I’d say prior to a few weeks ago when putting a vehicle out of service it was limited options on the “reasons”. However, that has since been corrected! Pros We use Groundcloud daily for our business. The drivers use it to plan their routes, and navigate through the day. Back office uses the the fleet map feature to get up to the minute information on where each truck is and how many packages have been delivered per driver. There are a few features I’ve recommended that would make it even better! I never get off the phone with out my questioned answered. Cons That’s hard. I like everything. The only slightly negative I can give this team is I really liked the performance metrics that were free but now cost a lot. I wish they could have offered a pro-lite version that keep the performance metrics but didn’t have the payroll feature so that I could have kept that feature. Cons I would like the VEDR coaching to be automated. Additionally, I would like to see more "workplace safety" in the safety training options to help us offset workplace injuries. Reason for choosing GroundCloud We chose Ground Cloud because we were looking for everything in one place..... time card feature, required safety training, VEDR technology, GPS and navigation. Ground Cloud has all of that and more. It saves us from managing multiple programs for all our needs. Ground Cloud offers a wealth of information and if utilized, can and will make your business stronger and absolutely more efficient.
