August 26, 2020 5.0 As my title says, we struggled with having CVs with client and project descriptions updated across all employees. Also having consistent wording on skills was rather difficult. CV Partner solves this problem. Highly recommended. Pros Easy to get up and running. We managed to roll out CV Partner to all our employees without any planning or initial training. The ability to fully customise our templates to our exact design was very impressive. Their support is unparalleled. We appreciate their ISO 27001 security certificate, as it shows their focus on securing our data. Cons Their features are great and easy to use, though some UX issues ought to be resolved (not always intuitive). However, they improve continuously, so I assume/hope they will be fixed soon. It is also really great for mass producing CVs for larger teams on the same template, giving a really professional look and feel. I've used CV Partner for 5+ years and it has saved us a ton of time, while also helping us win bids. Highly recommended! Cons It would be great if we could integrate it with our CRM tools, but this option is limited due to internal security. I can some times get a bit lost in my many variations of the same experience, but this is easily fixed by removing redundant versions. Pros Automated and beautifully formatted export CVS in any format required. There is an incredible time saving for me and my team, instead of spending half an hour per CV, I'll be lucky to spend one minute per CV. I also love the cross-referencing between CVS and project sheet summary details. It creates great consistency without further effort from myself or my team to provide high quality people and project experience. Possible to make several tailormade summaries Cons There is still not an oportunity to anchor each credential to a particular summary. Even users new to the product will be up to speed quickly. Cons The flip side of the coin regarding its ease of use: having (almost) no constraints at all makes it a bit of an anarchy. The company is very quick to respond to our requests and questions. In addition, during the implementation process \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] was very attentive in helping us customize our content and how we could get creative in using the fields for our needs. Pros I really like how quickly I can change the CV template from one proposal response to another. The functionality CV Partner provides for us to quickly add the staff I want to include in my proposal, customize the experience to match the staffing requirements from the RFP, and export out to out company specific template has saved our team a lot of time. Cons Although each CV has a time stamp on when the CV was last updated, it would be nice to see who updated that CV and the changes made. As an Administrator for this software, I am often making updates to bios on a consultant's behalf and it would be nice to have a way in CV Partner to track the changes and who made the update. This would help us ensure our consultants are making yearly updates as well. The ability to trial it before we signed up was great. the customer service and interaction with the help desk has been excellent. We are still working through to take full advantage of all the features of this excellent product. Pros That it existed as a stand alone CV and project database, with all the features we required Cons I'm not sure there is a "downside". Perhaps would have like to be able to customise some of the language (headings) a bit more to reflect the common terminology we already used. Pretty minor really. Reason for choosing Flowcase We considered a number of alternative, not which met our requirements, given we had to consider the wider corporate systems. Most CV products were more about from the HR/job seeker side, rather than CV generation for a consulting business. Resource Manager Management Consulting Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "CVPartner changed the way we work" August 27, 2020 5.0 Pros Although not tailored, it feels like CVPartner was indeed tailored to fit exactly our needs. The master CV feature where you store the entire CV and only choose what parts you want to export is making our job much more efficient. In the past we have had a directory of one-pager CVs where information kept getting lost. Also having one database where our entire organizations skills and experiences are stored (with a very user-friendly search-function) is extremely valuable. Not to mention the proposal function where you can tailor and store tailored versions of CVs and feed parts of it back to your master CV ensures that our overall CV-quality is increasing. Being able to program different CV-templates in CVPartner has also been a real help. My experience with CVPartner is that they are extremely agile and responsive. Cons The current features are more or less optimal for our use, however in the future, being able to integrate CVPartner closer with our systems to see i.e availability would be ideal. I believe you have a good service / support setup. internally we still strive to get updated / valid input - which is not related to the system, but internal process Pros The masterdata function - and the transparancy for all employees. The possiliby to tailor each cv to a particular tender is great - having more than one version of a CV. Cons I believe that the competence report is not so user friendly. The system does not allow us to undertake GAP analysis, on competencies as we cannot input expected level of competencies per role. Reason for choosing Flowcase We choose CV Partner as this fitted out need exactly. other systems which was way more expensive, did also have a lot of other modules that we did not need at that time. And then we can seek for special knowledge and find out very easily if we have employes with a certain skill. Pros We see a lot of advantages in using the product. For example, the functions of seeking in databases and connect CV:s with Reference Projects. And of course it is nice when all our CV:s have the same layout and the same content. Cons We are not quite satsified with the product regarding for example headlines, we can not use our own headlines. Cons Adding additional categories of custom fields is a bit tricky, but not a problem. Reason for choosing Flowcase SaaS solution for easy maintenance and search of relevant CVs saves us from time-consuming manual work to collect CVs in, e.g. a tender process.
