The resource center, with its job postings, volunteer listings, and user discussions, has been particularly helpful in revealing organizations whose principles match my own. I love the convenient ability to mark posts and use search criteria tailored to my needs, which makes Idealist truly invaluable. Cons I did not appreciate how challenging it was to negotiate the layout and features. The search bar proved to be an issue as it was hard to locate the desired content. Idealist is target towards non-profit, social justice oriented jobs in the U.S. It makes it straightforward and simple to find candidates who are interested in those types of roles. It is easy to use and brings in the most interested candidates in the quickest way. Cons The only downside to Idealist is that you have to pay per job posting. However, it is always free to post volunteer openings! Pros Idealist is one of the best site for job listings in the nonprofit sector. It's the go-to job board nonprofit employers and employees. Cons I don't have a ton of complaints. Sometimes creativity is needed when searching job terms, but all in all it's a straightforward and helpful platform.
