### "A broad and practical learning library for professional skills"

August 14, 2026

5.0

My experience with Udemy Business has been very good, particularly when I need practical training that I can apply directly to professional projects. I appreciate having access to both introductory and more advanced courses across a wide range of disciplines. For design and digital product work in particular, it is useful to be able to move from a conceptual topic to a very specific tool or technical skill without changing platforms. It has been a valuable resource for both expanding my existing skills and learning new tools as project requirements evolve.

Pros

What I like most about Udemy Business is the breadth of its course library and the amount of practical, hands-on content available. I can usually find training that matches a very specific need, whether it is related to UX/UI design, development, analytics, project management, productivity, or business skills. Many courses include real examples, exercises, and complete workflows, which makes it easier to apply what I learn directly to ongoing projects. The flexibility to move between different subjects and learning levels is also a major advantage.

Cons

Because the content library is so large, the quality and teaching style can differ between courses. Ratings and previews help, but I sometimes need to compare several courses before deciding which one is the best fit. Some longer courses could also be structured more concisely, especially when I am looking for a quick answer to a specific problem rather than a complete introduction to the subject.

### "Weeks without a resolution"

January 22, 2026

1.0

I created and published several courses on Udemy and, as expected, went through the normal back-and-forth during the review process to ensure everything met their requirements. My courses were approved, published, and began gaining traction. I invested significant personal time and money into marketing them, enrollments increased, and the reviews were very positive. Every review was 4 or 5 stars and the written feedback was great. Then, months after launch, I discovered that all of my courses had suddenly been marked as “banned” and unpublished, with no prior warning. There's no phone number listed to receive help and when I contacted the only email address I could find, I had to wait, only to be told that my courses were unpublished due to alleged AI-generated content and a lack of “human oversight.” This was frustrating, as it’s simply not true, and Udemy had already reviewed them and stated them good for publishing. I personally wrote the content of all courses, created the slides myself, put everything together and uploaded everything myself. I explained this and even provided screenshots and clear evidence to support this, showing my entire process. Since then, communication has been extremely disappointing. I have to wait for days and all I get is unpersonal, repetitive and canned replies that restate the same incorrect verbiage, that doesn't even address the evidence I’ve shared or suggest a resolution. There is no phone number to call, and despite multiple requests to speak with someone who can actually help resolve the issue, weeks have passed with no meaningful response or resolution. What’s most concerning is that this situation is Udemy's clear lack of respect or consideration for instructors that create the content that their company profits from. I've now spent so many hours and so much money in creating and marketing these courses, and it seems to me that Udemy would rather waste my time and money instead of doing the right thing and actually helping to reslove the situation. it's been weeks now, and I still cannot find anyone from Udemy to actually help, while my time and money is wasted and students are unable to access the courses that were created with the expertise and the quality production tht earned such good reviews. All I ask Udemy for is a fair review of the facts and a real conversation, but apparently, their hard-working course creators are not worthy of that.

Pros

I like that (in theory) it will expose my online courses to a broader audience since they have students sign-up and able to search for the type of courses they want to invest in.

Cons

The customer service is really poor and there's a lack of respect shown to those that invest a lot of their time and money in creating the courses that Udemy profit from.

### "A platform to Upskill and Learn Affordably"

May 18, 2026

4.0

overall , I find udemy as a platform to upskill and polish my knowledge , rather than a reputed & recognized certification platform . Ability to track the learning progress is a notably positive.

Pros

Udemy Business offers a wide range of courses across various fields, including specific tools and software applications. Most courses are well-structured and delivered by experienced instructors. The cost of learning and upskilling is relatively affordable, making it accessible for both individuals and organizations. The ability to track employee learning progress is also a valuable feature for management.

Cons

The certifications are not widely recoganized and is relatively easy to achieve . some of the courses are outdated and the quality of the content is not consistent.

### "Fantasic personal and professional development tool!"

August 30, 2025

5.0

Overall I love this platform for work and personal development. I've found it handy for a plethora of trainings in my field of work.

Pros

Udemy is one of the ways i learn new skills for personal development. When I suggested Udemy business to a supervisor, she jumped on the opportunity to use it. The amount of courses and topics available are amazing and great valuefor the money paid. The security, customer support and student teacher interactions are perfect as well.

Cons

I don't really have any cons, the website is awesome. I guess the only thing that would be a great fix is lettting all the features of the website be available on the app ass well (better communication, file downloads, class video management, etc)

### "A Great Resource for Professional Development, but the Platform needs some TLC!"

January 24, 2025

3.0

I enjoyed the Udemy Business platform overall, but ultimately made the decision to make a change on account of the issues with the interface. If you're a smaller organization or a large company that has the back office support, the customization and variety of course subject matter would outweigh the sluggish interface.

Pros

The best attribute of the Udemy platform is the customization. The first being the ability to tailor the content available to your employees. I'm able to be sure the content is relevant and of interest to ensure my team continued to learn and was enthusiastic when doing so.

Cons

The platform/user interface for the app can be sluggish and timeout during "high traffic" times. We've had this occur twice now ahead of our mid-year and annual review cycles when our workforce is attempting to complete their learning path ahead of their performance review. In addition there have been some cases where folks that have completed courses aren't marked as such and had to implement a process where they had to take a screenshot upon completing a training or course which was frustrating and ate up bandwidth across our HR and L&D Teams.

### "Udemy Business makes up-skilling easy "

August 6, 2026

5.0

Udemy Business has been a valuable tool for me to continue improving. Consulting is a competitive field and Udemy helps keep me current. While I wish the library was larger, what is there is excellent. I would definitely recommend Udemy.

Pros

Udemy has an excellent selection of curated and relevant content. In my profession as a consultant, continuous personal improvement is of paramount importance. Having Udemy as a tool to up-skill and continue learning has been very valuable. I especially appreciated the resource updates on courses I’ve already completed. And last, I like the variety of instructors, which make each course feel unique and helps keep me engaged.

Cons

My biggest gripe with Udemy is its relatively small library. Compared to LinkedIn Learning, I believe the quality of each course is higher. I just wish there was more of it.

### "Great for self-improvement"

August 15, 2026

5.0

Pros

What I liked most about Udemy is its extensive knowledge base for courses and self-improvement. Also, you can add the certificates to LinkedIn.

Cons

What I like least about Udemy, is that many of the courses can be dull, boring, monotone, and AI created...

### "Great learning platform"

January 7, 2026

5.0

Excellent learning platform with a lot of courses across topics, with varying degrees of rigour and depth. Good self-paced courses which allow you to plan conveniently.

Pros

Extremely useful courses - both technical and functional. Instructors are good and the self-paced learning pattern is very effective.

Cons

There should be an option to try out Udemy without a business account. It would help gauge the courses & material better.

Love the tool, it does lack true LMS capability but makes up for it with literally everything else.

Pros

The UI leaves little to be desired, it's easy to pick up where you left off of search for something new

Cons

The reporting was a bit out of the box versus being able to create my own.

### "Built to empower groups and individuals with additional skills"

December 14, 2024

4.0

Built to empower groups and individuals with distinguishable skills and features unavailable among the remaining rivals, in LMS platforms industry. Udemy business is an established platform committed to revolutionize learning and training in enterprises and companies. A fully armed with features to suit the different needs, the different teams and even the different industries. Udemy Business has a variety of plans that would be favourable for both, the number of users and your budget. Udemy Business is what great enterprises and teams are looking for; it is developed to meet the interests for both small and large groups, remote of Hybrid modes of training. Courses are intricately designed in the favour of all, IT operators, executives, leaders, engineers, data scientists and many others.

Pros

I like best its customer service commitment, but it is additionally famous for all ways and means to manage courses, particularly its customizing features for groups and individuals, assign tasks and tests. Its user friendly dashboard offers full insights and analytics about how courses develop, namely reports on courses, skills, tests and labs.

Cons

In fact, I do not have enough to go against Udemy Business except for the issue of accreditation and course content, I sometimes feel that they are less careful when it comes to instructors, anyone can be an instructor on Udemy, and this might limit the quality of courses.

### "Great Supplemental Learning Tool"

November 20, 2023

5.0

I love it. It is a great tool for additional learning, with great check points for learning, and we have been using it for AWS certification prep.

Pros

At Infoplus, we offer a Udemy Subscription to all employees as a way to add value to their own education paths that they want to take. There are also great classes that add value for my team when they are onboarding, like the Junit and Cypress tests, which has added knowledge to my team that they did not previously have.

Cons

There can be too many choices so I do spend time vetting what courses I recommend if I am asked by a team member for help choosing a course.

### ""One of the best educational platform""

March 31, 2022

5.0

If you are from a non-cs background, looking for a good learning platform to start with Udemy business is the best platform. Good quality of content and educators.

Pros

I am using the Udemy business for my educational purposes for the past 2 years. Even though I am from a non-computer science background, it helps a lot by teaching from the grass-root level. We can identify the time we have spent, and the remaining contents from level bars. Learning paths helps a lot to choose lectures based on our field of interest.

Cons

Some courses are outdated. If there is a proctored exam is there after the end of the course, it will make certificates more valuable. Some educators replay very late.

### "Platform for professional Growth and Skill Development "

July 6, 2023

5.0

The experience I have with Udemy is exceptional as the courses are curated to make it simple and easy to digest and grasp on quick pace. Reminder setup makes very clean feature to let us know of the time to get back to the pace of studying. Having many courses within the platform makes it very nice to learn new subjects and explore career options. Overall, I’m very satisfied as I’m still using the tool for learning.

Pros

Udemy is a versatile and accessible online learning platform where I could access using any device anywhere. Courses that Udemy provides are professionally created by Industry professionals making it more reliable and having more insight into the industry related info which has given me a better insight of what I’m learning. The UI of the platform is easy to navigate and keep track of the progress. Further, downloading the app enables to download the courses to the device and then work on the courses even without the need of internet which is a very useful and efficient feature.

Cons

Since the courses are self paced, doubts related to the contents will have to raised through email/Q&A section where reply may take some delay beside that I don’t see any limitation to the courses nor the platform.

### "Udemy for Business is the go to for learning diverse things"

July 13, 2022

4.0

My experience with Udemy Business was a good one, going back at it when the job will allow it.

Pros

I liked the most at Udemy for Business the fact that there are a lot of courses from almost all the domains, and the fact that on courses with assessments, the user can ‘code’ on the website.

Cons

It would be cool to have a feature that would allow the learner to code inside the browser, as other learning tools do, without needing the setup on the local machine of the required coding applications.

### "A Great Way to Learn"

July 22, 2021

5.0

I gained a lot of knowledge from Udemy, things I wouldn't have thought I'd ever take the time to learn. The overall quality of the courses is pretty good. I especially enjoy receiving the certificates upon completion of the courses. Udemy really provides an inexpensive opportunity to gain new skills and tools.

Pros

Easy to use, very informative. Some of the courses are very engaging, which really makes all the difference for adult learning, I feel. If your team is using the platform, it's easy to assign courses, track progress, leave notes for each other. an inexpensive way to share knowledge and gain information.

Cons

Some of the courses are useless... even from a beginner perspective. Sometimes you really have to search, which can be expensive if you paying a la carte. If you have an annual membership, the search is merely an inconvenience. Some of the sound from the courses has not been tested so the volume can be brutal.

### "Udemy for easy course access"

June 24, 2021

My overall experience was good as there are a lot of courses from where we can study and develop ourselves by learning through them.

Pros

There are many features that I like about using Udemy and the first is that the courses are much cheaper and affordable for everyone who wanna learn new things. There are checkpoints that we can add to our course in between the videos to check it again and then go through all the points that we added while reading the points we added.

Cons

Some of the courses in udemy are just theory and not much relevant to the course content and need of the hour.
