Imagine Learning Reviews
"Amazing learning program for foundation phase"
Overall: Imagine learning helps us to teach learners English language, oral and written. Learners are no longer afraid to speak English as they enjoy learning with imagine learning and socialising with each other at the same time
Pros: Imagine learning helps learners to easily learn English. I like the fact that it adjust to different kinds of learning levels. Also, the learners enjoy learning as they play games.
Cons: I don't like the fact that it crashes at times and we have to start afresh.
"Elementary ESL use"
Overall: My students have been using ImagineLearning for some time with a lot of success. For my students who are able to log in, they really enjoy using the product and I feel it provides quality, engaging instruction. It's very effective in person with teacher support. Logging in remotely has proved difficult as students have to manage usernames, passwords and a site code. Use on school provided iPads has also proved difficult, as the product states that it is incompatible with Safari (but really isn't, only parents have to click through a confusing screen to access it). Although downloading the app would be ideal, school provided iPads are often locked to parents adding new apps. So far it has been a struggle to get my students with iPads using this program, but my students with laptops do well.
Pros: - Great, engaging content for students - Adaptive program to meet students where they are - Enjoyable
Cons: - Program can be difficult for students to log into - Reports generated can crash easily leading to difficulty discussing these on Zoom calls
"Supporting Your English Learners"
Overall: Overall, Imagine Learning Language and Literacy is a good resource for developing foundational reading skills with native language supports. Although Imagine Learning Language and Literacy does not appear to be directly aligned with the science of reading, we have seen moderate growth with our EL newcomers. I would recommend requesting a free trial to see if Imagine Learning Language and Literacy addresses your specific needs before purchasing.
Pros: Imagine Learning offers a broad collection of educational products ranging from courseware and core curriculum to supplemental and intervention. Currently, our high schools and alternative schools use edgenuity. While the products offer a wide range of products, they include products for supporting English learners. With diversity growing rapidly in our district, Imagine Learning Language and Literacy, which offers native language supports, has been helpful in supporting our ELs.
Cons: Imagine Learning has changed a lot since their merger with a larger company. We have has less personalized customer service and the products is not as user friendly.
"Imagine Learning"
Pros: I love that this intervention program can really meet the student at their present levels of performance.
Cons: I wish the Imagine Math for older students was a bit more interactive for those who are REALLY struggling and are low.
"Learn Zillion~Imagine Learning"
Overall: not happy with it
Pros: The slides for lessons are a nice visual
Cons: hard to use, training was not enough hard to assing lessons for students, lessons did not follow the book
