### "The Best in the Biz!"

September 13, 2022

5.0

I started years ago with Printful. I now use other POD providers as well, but have been in love with their quality, service, customer service, policies, and more. I have always been a huge fan and I see no dropping them in the future, they really are the best.

Pros

Yu do not need a cent or even artistic ability to start an online store chock full of a myriad of popular and needed products. And, it is absolutely free. It syncs with your store on Etsy, Amazon, Ebay, and more and you do something once, push the product to your store, and everything is automated thereafter.

Cons

I stated that Printful was $$$ Mid-tier earlier in teh evaluation of cost in this review. That is only referring to the cost of their products and fulfillment. The software is FREE to use and has online, apps, and more but as it is free they have a higher price for all their products. They are the best in the business worldwide, but other POD companies are also free with just as good of results in general...but Printful wins every time in consistency and quality and you pay for it in teh products.

### "Is Printful Worth It? My Honest Experience"

April 16, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with Printful has been very positive. The platform is easy to use and integrates smoothly with online stores, making it simple to design, launch, and manage products. I really like that they handle production and shipping, which saves a lot of time and allows me to focus on growing my brand and marketing my products. The product quality has been consistent, and having access to branding options helps create a more professional look for my store. While the pricing and shipping costs can be a bit higher than some alternatives, the reliability, ease of use, and quality make it a dependable choice for running a print-on-demand business.

Pros

What I liked most about Printful is how easy it makes the entire print-on-demand process from start to finish. The platform is very user-friendly, especially when it comes to designing products and syncing them with online stores. I also appreciate the wide range of high-quality products and customization options, which makes it easy to create unique items for my brand. Another big advantage is that Printful handles printing, packaging, and shipping, which allows me to focus more on marketing and growing my business instead of worrying about logistics. Their reliable fulfillment and branding options, like custom labels and packaging inserts, really help create a more professional customer experience.

Cons

What I liked least about Printful is the pricing. While the quality is good, the base cost of products can be higher compared to some other print-on-demand services, which makes it harder to maintain strong profit margins—especially when starting out. I also found that shipping costs can add up quickly, particularly for international orders, which can be a drawback for customers. Additionally, some products have limited customization options, and fulfillment times can occasionally be slower during peak seasons, which may impact customer satisfaction.

### "Blurry shirts and shitty service "

December 3, 2024

1.0

I will not order from them again after no being willing to fix blurry printed shirts that was all on their end.

Pros

They worked perfectly fine in the beginning with my sample orders- colorful and crisp.

Cons

Once I placed a large order or shirts that I approved samples of more than half my prints were blurry. Costumer service has not address it well. I had to take individual photos of each item and provide an itemized list, to which some photos they blamed the fabric even though it’s no different than other shirts that printed clearly. They will not resolve it for me.

### "Start a Business With Printful "

February 22, 2026

5.0

It's a very easy site to navigate through. There are many types of products and it is very inexpensive. Plus I can have quality products shipped by Printful to my customers. They take care of everything. It's a great way to have a side business and to extend my art sales to generate more income.

Pros

I can easily make art prints and products with my art. I just upload a quality image of my paintings and look for the products I want to create with it. I have connected Printful with my Hostinger account so that my products can be sold from my Hostinger business website. However, I can also order my prints or products to sell them to customers in person. My business branding is also included. Another plus is that Printful is secure and safe for customers. They also handle any refunds of products they ship out. So far I haven't experienced any bugs or issues with the site.

Cons

When I upload an image, I'm not able to edit the image with color contrasts, cropping, etc like you can in Gelato. Images must be edited before uploading.

Alternatives considered

[SPOD](https://www.capterra.com/p/238101/SPOD/)

Reason for choosing Printful

I was able to integrate it easily with my Hostinger account for free and connect it so that I can sell the products on my website.

### "Convenient Print-On-Demand, but Pricing and Support Can Frustrate"

January 5, 2026

4.0

Overall, it’s a convenient and reliable platform for print-on-demand, but pricing and support can be frustrating. It works well for basic fulfillment, but scaling or handling issues can be challenging.

Pros

The products are easy to source and generally reliable, and the fulfillment process is straightforward. It’s convenient for running a print-on-demand store without handling inventory.

Cons

Some products are overpriced compared to retail, which makes pricing tricky. Support is slow and often unhelpful.

### "Reliable Print-on-Demand Partner with a Few UX Hiccups"

October 21, 2025

5.0

Overall, Printful has been a great solution for running my Etsy shop with minimal hassle. It’s dependable, the fulfillment times are reasonable, and I like knowing my customers are getting a quality product. If they streamlined a few of the navigation steps and improved communication from support, it would be close to perfect.

Pros

I like that Printful integrates seamlessly with Etsy, making it easy to drop ship my designs without a ton of manual work. The product quality is solid and consistent, and I really appreciate how intuitive most of the design tools and mockup generators are. The overall user experience feels modern and professional.

Cons

Some parts of the UX can be confusing, especially when managing multiple stores or updating product variants. Customer service is fine, but sometimes it takes a few messages to get a clear answer or resolution.

### "Great integrations but some order status issues"

April 21, 2025

4.0

I use Printful almost daily, and generally I find it to be a powerful, useful tool

Pros

I like how powerful it is as a platform. I've been able to design and print so many different products, and the integrations with both Etsy and TikTok are pretty seamless.

Cons

I think there's a bit of a lack of transparency about pricing for digitizing files, and that really cuts into my profits. I also wish that there was more access to managing individual orders, checking on status within a production facility, and shipping estimates. I had a lot of trouble with that over the holidays.

My overall experience with printfull Is \* just what I've always dreamed it would be- "so easy a caveman can do it\*

Pros

My overall favorite thing in regards to my time spent using printfull, is the user-friendly, click, click and pull/bam you're done. It's seamless, effortless, and most importantly Printfull is definitely dependable.

Cons

I honestly can't think of anything I dislike about printfull.

### "Great and affordable customization platform"

September 4, 2025

5.0

Overall has been a great service to use. No major complaints that have caused me to look for other options.

Pros

Printful is an easy to use platform to sell custom products without having inventory. There are a lot of options for product customizations.

Cons

Sometimes prices were a little too high for some things. The same happened occasionally with shipping also.

### "Printful Does What We Need"

May 20, 2024

4.0

We've had a great experience with them so far. The shirts are high quality and shipped on a timely basis. We havent' had any complaints!

Pros

Printful makes designing stuff easy. No inventory is great, so no shipping or worrying about getting something to someone myself. They do it all for you.

Cons

There aren't as many choices of merch as some of their competitors.

Reason for choosing Printful

They were cheaper and easier to set up.

### "Great resource for small businesses"

July 1, 2024

4.0

Overall, despite the few small complaints we have, we would still recommend Printful to anyone. Their fulfillment is simple and easy, their embroidery quality is almost always really great, and their customer service is pretty helpful. The ability to have the fulfillment synced with our personal website, so that we have to do next to nothing is something that makes Printful leagues above the other options.

Pros

The pricing for embroidery/print services is pretty comparable with most other options on the market. We are a small business, so syncing Printful's fulfillment with our website so that customers and employees can order items with our branding on it when they want is the most cost-effective way for us to have custom merch produced. We also use Printful for our own personal services to have items for the office, uniform shirts, etc. produced. Their website, design functionality, etc. works great, and you're able to do a lot more DIY with Printful as opposed to the other online custom printers, where you have to call to speak with a sales rep to request certain design features (which we don't always want to take the time to do). The quality of most everything has been decent, and when it hasn't, they've replaced it to make it right.

Cons

As I mentioned, there have been times where the print or embroidery quality has been inconsistent. When this has occurred, they've made it right, but you do have to go through the process of submitting images of the products, waiting in the queue for the customer service rep, etc. when the items really shouldn't have been sent out like that in the first place. We tend to order embroidery more often from printful than we do screen printed items, as we've noticed the screen printed items do not last very long (it looks nice, but fades a ridiculous amount after the first couple washes). They could definitely add more variety to their inventory as well, as they don't have much a diversity in what they offer.

### "Printful is my go-to for print on demand services! "

November 28, 2022

5.0

Overall it’s one of the best print on demand services compared to the other company’s that integrates well with my websites e-commerce platform and delivers products to my customers efficiently.

Pros

I liked Printful because it integrates with my Wix website and allows me to see everything that is taking place on the e-commerce side of my website. I also like Printful for the ability to brand my products with my company logo. I also like that Printful offers a variety of products on the market.

Cons

I didn’t like that I have to pay and upfront charge for embroidery features. Some of their products are a bit pricey and doesn’t give much room for profit markups.

### "Great Software and POD Products, Terrible Order Management Policies"

June 15, 2021

4.0

Printful delivers a good product but refuses to think about their customers' end customers and use common sense. This makes them unsuitable for use with Amazon stores, and undesirable for use if your customers care about getting their products on time.

Pros

Printful is easy to set up through Shopify, and even through WooCommerce, and they produce a pretty good product on average. The Amazon integration is nice to have, but does have some issues.

Cons

Printful has rules for fulfilment that often make zero sense and cause massive delays in product fulfilment. For example (and I've seen this dozens of times), if a particular shirt is out of stock in the US and won't be back in stock for three days, the smart thing would be to wait to fulfill the order when that shirt comes back in stock. What they will do instead, is fulfill that item from Europe. Then it gets shipped to their facility in the US. This adds ~14-35 days to the shipping time, depending on the shipping service used (not up to you). Then, the item gets shipped to the customer. That last few days of the process is what they count as their fulfilment time, allowing them to pretend they kept their guarantee. I had a client's Amazon account that was completely ruined by this. POD was a new, and relatively tiny part of the account - but the repeated delays prompted Amazon to heavily punish the account, and the client lost their business. The problem was discussed with printful and they refused to fix or even acknowledge the issue. They wouldn't even allow us to say we don't want items fulfilled from Europe.

### "Printful Product Review"

July 31, 2021

4.0

Initially, my experience went well. As Printful grew, however, keeping my business a priority for them became a big issue. The quality control also started to fizzle...Honestly., in the long run, I'm glad I stopped working with Printful and just started printing with a local screen printer.

Pros

What I like most about Printful is the ease of launching an apparel brand within minutes. With TONS of blank apparel items you can certainly provide a very customized product for your customers.

Cons

There are a few things I do not like about Printful. They are a little pricy...I feel their sublimation printing should be a bit cheaper. Another thing is they did have long turnaround times. As the apparel industry grows, more clients begin to use Printful. The demand for apparel printing is greater than the fast working times Printful can provide. Also, it is a pain to set up tax (Nexus) with Printful, if you sell worldwide...

### "High quality products and printing "

January 30, 2023

5.0

I love printful. It's the best print on demand app out there. I have been using it for over 3 years now and have not have any complaints since. I would recommend to anyone to use this professional print on demand business.

Pros

It is easy to use and very user friendly. Information on the website itself is easy to understand with words and infographics added to minimize confusion. Live customer support is very helpful and the responds is quick. They go out their way to help out with queries. Also there are plenty of discount codes and monthly competition to win prices which is very nice.

Cons

Some products go out stock for a very long time and also the shipping prices for products has drastically increased.

### "Solid option for print on demand clothing and merch"

August 12, 2021

5.0

Printful is one of several top-tier print on demand companies. They do things well, and have good print quality. However they are definitely more expensive than several other comparable companies and don't have a order rerouting option that other co's do.

Pros

Catalog is well laid out. It is easy to apply original designs to merchandise. The order process is seamless and works well with Wordpress (and presumably other platforms)

Cons

Integration with woo commerce could be a little more streamlined. Updating a product on Printful platform completely overwrites the product in my woo commerce store. Would be good if you could lock certain parameters.

Reason for choosing Printful

I started with printful, but their costs were prohibitive.

### "Custom, on-demand printing for Shopify store "

September 14, 2020

4.0

Overall we were really happy and impressed with this tool. Anyone can us it to "stock" a variety of items in a Shopify store without holding any inventory.

Pros

Loved that it was easy to use and free and allowed my partner and I to try out ideas without printing and holding inventory.

Cons

I think they could do better in guiding you towards better decisions for example we did some t-shirts and in our initial set we placed the cheast graphic too low -- not blaming them as WE placed it but is seems that offering suggested placement for common areas would be a help.

April 6, 2021

I don't have many bad things to say about Printful. They are easy to deal with, fast turnaround and their prices are some of the lowest out there.

Pros

The ease of integration is unbeatable. To sync Printful with my e-store took almost no time at all and works flawlessly.

Cons

Their user interface can be a bit confusing. There are too many menu options and pages. It is in dire need of being more simplistic.
