This software is a bit redundant for us. Pros I like the flexible licenses as well as the possibilities for a power user. The setup is fairly easy to setup as well. Cons Many third-parties, some with expensive pricing. The QMC interface could use some work. The pop-up menus are too small. I would like to see a more integrated hybrid capability to support both QlikView and Qlik Sense in a dual implementation while addresses the weaker aspects of each. Pros Qlik Sense allows me to provide users with a library of BI objects (key indicators, trending charts, and other objects) based on a common data set. Users can choose to view simple dashboards or create complex analyses to support their own projects. Cons Some of the implementation and maintenance is still cumbersome, and I would prefer a greater capacity to centralize some areas of the published Qlik library in my organization. The ability to integrate data from different sources to provide rich options of graphing the data and drill down analysis of tables. It provides easy customization and easy reporting for the data. Cons The no Linux supports causes compatibility problems some times. Qlik sense is not the best solution one would use for a real-time dashboard. It may require outside assistance for advanced usage. It provide us ready-to-use tools for quick insights. The desktop version gives you the chance to develop data models real fast. Data sources are practically infinite, so you can get your data connected no matter where it is. It's very intuitive for the newcommers but a strong tool for more advanced users. Dashboards and other insight visualization comes to life real quick. Cons The license schema and insights distribution, you need a QS Server to do it, so you need to manage your Budget wisely.
