They have 91,000 world wide users. Pros We have built our entire business on the Heyzine Platform Cons Can't find any problems. We researched thirteen other book makers. None of them match Heyzine! Reason for choosing Heyzine Brilliant product superb customer support Review Source TB Tina B. Editor Entertainment Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "Simply Amazing!" June 8, 2023 5.0 My overall experience with Heyzine has been superb and I recommend them to friends and colleagues whenever I can! Pros I miss the old days of real magazines that you held in your hands. Being able to turn our PDF into page flipping goodness is just so awesome! We create a quarterly magazine and instead of just the same old online magazine that has always just been a website and nothing more, Heyzine's flipbook platform allows for something completely unique and visually stimulating. Plus, their platform has so many awesome options, like including links and videos. The viewer can also listen to music while flipping through our magazine. It's very user friendly and the customer service is fantastic! Cons The ONLY thing that I don't even think can be approved upon is that these flipbooks are not very viewable on smartphones. They CAN be viewed on smartphones, but the page-flipping goodness is deflated because the viewer has to zoon in to read the text. But hey, maybe everyone can stop using smartphones all the time and start using devices with larger monitors for a change. I think this would be a step in the right direction for mankind anyway as it would be the beginning of less miscommunications for one thing. It would also remind people how much better EVERYTHING is on larger display screens. Reason for choosing Heyzine Price is fantastic and has everything I was looking for! Review Source CL Cindi L. Phenomenal customer experience! This has helped me SOO much! Pros I receive incredible support. Within 12 hours, I have received an answer to my many questions with charts, directions, and pics. It's just weird when I think about it; I have never seen this level of support anywhere and I use LOTS of apps. Cons I watched a video by a guy named \[sensitive content hidden\] and it was so good that I decided to try Canva and Heyzine. He made it sound like there was no better combination. I'm glad I did, but am so disappointed that Canva does NOT have text wrap capabilities nor do they have the ability to place a maneuverable border wrap of photos. This is not good if you are trying to publish a newsletter or e-mag. Canva has LOTS of other cool features, so now I work with Swift Publisher to initially set up my publication, then bring it to Canva to zjoosh it up and then bring it over to Heyzine to add all the cool integrations. Reason for choosing Heyzine Ease of use, \[sensitive content hidden\] video explained alot, so much so that my self-efficacy improved so I purchased Heyzine because of the clarity in his video and belief I could do it and use it. Only thing is that the API might be extended so you could also delete flipbooks easily or set a decay time of like 30 days. We mainly use the product for an offer and this offer also stands for 30 days Review Source DW Doug W. December 22, 2021 5.0 Overall, we love what you can do with the user experience with Heyzine. We love that you can create so many things from one software but we wish there was more versatility. We also found it a pain when you're trying to share the custom domain with the upgraded plan that you have to do so directly through the panel on Heyzine instead of having a custom link that has your custom domain. Pros We love that you can create unique content with Heyzine. Just recently, we created an invite for our event and it got a lot of great feedback. On one side, we had a fancy gold envelope. And when it flips, we have the contents of the invitation displayed. For the background image, we were able to have bokeh lighting that fit the event as well as background music. Where it had the contents of the event, we were able to place a noticeable clickable link for our guests to go to the ticketing page. Altogether, it was phenomenal for our user experience. Cons We still feel like there can be more versatility with the software. For one, we wish you were able to upload PNGs instead of solely PDFs. This was a bit of an issue when creating the invite--uploading a PNG would have been far easier. Review Source PS Parth S. We have no complaints and are looking for more features to be added. We would like to see Heyzine as one of the best flipbook provider in the market. Kudos to the team!! Pros We are a Language Institute. Hence it solves our problems to make students practice their Listening by putting audio/video in the flipbook. Cons We look forward to more features which can be launched to make this better. 1. PDF Editor (Adding blank pages / removing pages / write any text on the pdf etc) 2. Adding folder options in the audio library. Currently all the audio are visible. Hence it makes confusing for the user when to select which audio. 3. Bulk delete option is also needed. Pros It’s great that integrates with Canva because it saves down loading your PDF and then shoot it directly in to the Heyzine software. Also like all the choices you have of adding links, videos, sounds throughout the whole thing or whatever. It is also very economically priced compared to most of its competitors. Cons Everything works great and customer service is very responsive if there’s something we cannot figure out. Review Source VJ Victor J. Pros I like the simple interface and straight forward upload/implementation process. Cons The "replace PDF"-feature, doesn't seem to work consistently. Alternatives considered [Flipsnack](https://www.capterra.com/p/176854/Flipsnack/) Reason for choosing Heyzine Best price, and overall look and feel. Review Source Response from Coding Focus June 20, 2022 Hey Victor, Thanks for the review, we strive to be the most straight forward yet feature-rich flipbook platform out there. So we appreciate your feedback. As for the replace-pdf function, we certainly had some problems with it, but we fix it half a year ago. If you need help with it, please contact us at support. It can be used as a product catalog, online magazine, or digital flyer. Pros We're in an era where there is so much content on the internet, that we need to be cutting edge and stand out. That's one of the many reasons why I like Heyzine. It takes a boring PDF and recreates it into a magazine-style flipbook. Also as a plus side, they store your flipbook on their server so it can free up space on your site. Cons If you do want to have the Heyzine flipbook on your site, the image is very tiny. I've seen competing companies have flipbooks where the image is much larger on sites. With the size Heyzine provides as an embed for your site, it's simply not large enough to view. This wasn't as well thought out from a user design angle. Review Source Response from Coding Focus October 28, 2021 Thank you for your review! You can adjust the size of the flipbook before embedding it from the share menu. Or you can also set it with the width and height settings of the iframe on your website. The flipbook can be as large as the full size of your page. If you need help with it just reach out at support@heyzine.com and we will do our best to help. Thank you again! KC Keith C. Was under pressure, stressed and just messed up. With one day to publication, I contacted Heyzine Support and they finagled a solution and the QR Code now links to the correct Flipbook. Their response time, helpfulness, and quick solution saved me in a big way. Can't thank them enough! Pros Heyzine is a breeze to get up and running and and seamless to use. Cons Everything I need it to do, it's perfectly suited for. I've got nothing for least. Heyzine was exactly what I needed. Pros Heyzine makes everything incredibly easy. If you have a PDF of your magazine it's only a few clicks away from being online as an interactive flipbook. Links are automatically generated. It's white label, with even a small amount of customization available. You can embed on your website. It's budget friendly. Cons I only have one thing, and frankly it's minor. I would love to be able to a bit more branding in the background etc. Switched from [Flipsnack](https://www.capterra.com/p/176854/Flipsnack/) More user friendly, easily include all links, white labeling, cost. Pros People on Pinterest, and elsewhere online, reach to moving images. As an author or creator of journals, planners and workbooks, having a way to display the inside pages of my work, has increased sales and business connections. Cons My wish list for the products, would be to be able to transform the flipping pages into a video that could be downloaded. Reason for choosing Heyzine I compared it to what I was currently using and knew within moments that Heyzine would provide me with an easy way to create flip books. Review Source MG Mariedyth G. I cannot put into words how much I appreciate the fact Heyzine gave me all that I needed for my flipbooks! They have a lot of potential for growth in developing even more templates for books and other designs that I hope they jump on. Pros My role at the organization I work for is in the arena of hospitality. I'm supposed to ensure customers have a memorable experience that makes them want to come back to our organization. The Heyzine Flipbook is a great way for us to display cataloged information in an attractive manner. We've gotten a lot of great feedback on it from our customers. Cons From the role that I play in our organization, I would like to see more design templates become available from Heyzine. A drag and drop builder would also be a great idea for them so instead of just a PDF display, you could additionally place an image in one slot that has a link attached, a text block below, etc. It would also be nice to see a spiral-bound journal option available as a flipbook for a product display of planners, a flippable e-ticket, and more options available for book templates. Really, the ideas are endless, so I hope Heyzine considers expanding on their template selections. Review Source NS Nick S. Pros The first thing to say is how easy this is to use, create a log in and drag and drop a Pdf, that's it, job done. The second thing I have to say is how quick and helpful the customer support has been even with the free version; my hyperlinks didn't work at first but they told me how to fix that (Save As Pdf, not print). The third thing I will say is how impressed people are by this format when you send the link to share your flipbook. Cons It can't read Alt Text for pictures but they said they are working on that.
