Pros The courses included are of very high quality, especially the ACloudGuru ones. The skills test are also really helpful for working out what level I should be learning at for new and existing systems. Cons Sometimes there can be too much and it's not always easy to know which course to take when there are multiple covering the same topic. It is also frustrating to not be able to skip sections of a course. I bought a one year subscription to use to prepare for my AWS exams by taking relevant classes. Gave me access to all the classes needed. Cons Some of the classes are a bit long and I think they could try to break them up to reduce the time requirement some. I had to pay a large sum for signing up for the platform and eventually ended up failing few exams for which I had bought the subscription for. I also feel that the support leaves a lot to be desired. Pros The A cloud guru platform peaked between 2015-2018 when AWS certifications were really easy and every certification did not rely on scenario based questions. The platform has really not been updated well and it has lost its sheen in comparison to other more detailed and organized instructors like\[SENSITIVE CONTENT\],\[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] and\[SENSITIVE CONTENT\]. The only USP going for this platform now is its name based on its popularity in the past. Cons There are many issues with the the A cloud guru platform but the major ones are how expensive it is as well as how some of the courses as well as exams have not been updated for quite sometime. I believe A cloud guru buying linux academy took some of the best instructors away from linux academy platform. I am not sure how it will work out now that PluralSight has taken it over. We all can just wait and see. Reasons for choosing Pluralsight Cloud+ I bought it because of its original hype which I absolutely regret now. We were more interested in Linux courses and materials but ACG proved that it is an amazing multi-dimensional school and has since been the best learning platform not only in Linux and Cloud, but also numerous other topics. Pros ACG's introduction of the Playground and live sandboxes was so exciting and beneficial to students and put ACG far ahead of all the other competitors in the market. Cons We started with Linux Academy and it was acquired by ACG; While it was great news, we had to go through a timely transition process. Now that ACG has been acquired by Pluralsight, I really hope that we will not have to go through the same long process again.
