Overall, Bento has been a really positive experience. It’s simple, well organised, and easy to use without feeling overcomplicated. It helped keep things clear and saved time, which made the whole process feel smooth and low-fuss.

Pros

I liked how easy Bento was to use. It felt clean, straightforward, and didn’t take much effort to get set up or understand. Everything was organised well, which made it simple to manage without a lot of back and forth.

Cons

There wasn’t much I disliked. If I had to pick something, a bit more guidance or detail upfront would make it even easier to get the most out of it, especially when you’re first getting started.

Switching platforms is never something you take lightly, especially when your whole business runs through it. Bento made it feel easy, and more than that, it made me feel like I'd found the right home. Five stars, and I mean it.

Pros

Moving to Bento felt like stepping out of the past and into something built from the ground up for where things are headed. The deliverability has been noticeably better, and the value for what I'm paying is hard to argue with. But the thing that really won me over... the AI flow builder is fantastic. It's the kind of tool that makes you rethink what an automation platform can be. It doesn't feel bolted on. It feels native to the whole experience. And then there's the support, which was honestly the best I've ever had. It doesn't feel like dealing with a giant publicly traded company. It feels like the kind of company I run myself, with an \[sensitive content hidden\] who cares as much as I do. I care a lot about my subscribers and the people I'm trying to help... and Bento gives me that same warm feeling, like I'm part of something, and that the \[sensitive content hidden\] care just as much. That's a rare thing to find these days, and it makes me feel good about being here. I'm excited for where it's going to grow from here, even though it's already at an amazing place.

Cons

Nothing major, honestly. I went in fully expecting the usual migration headaches you get when switching platforms, and I just didn't hit them. If I'm reaching for something, I'm still getting my head wrapped around the new approach... but it's well worth the investment in time, because it'll pay off big time in the long run.

I wanted a more modern platform with better AI integration, better deliverability, better contact engagement management, and better spam filtering. Other tools were missing a lot of those features, and I often had to buy additional subscriptions outside of it to fill its gaps.

Reasons for choosing Bento

I think you need to talk to the owner. What first started winning me over was the feeling that he cared about his company in a way that I do. The more I looked at the features, the more I realized they were built in a new way, and it feels like it’s set up to do really well in the future. That was important to me, coming from a very old platform that is struggling to update and stay relevant as things change. The price was incredibly competitive and simple.

We have only been using Bento for a short while but have already made the decision to integrate with our application. The support has been fantastic!

Pros

We love the simple interface and logical steps for creating automated email flows and campaigns. Having a deep integration with our application makes segmenting audiences simple.

Cons

The AI integration can sometimes be hard to convey our wants to. It can mid-understand our desired outcome.

I'm new to it but it already looks promising. I'm using maybe 10% of it's features. It gets above and beyond a simple email marketing.

Pros

I migrated from Drip and have most my needs satisfied immediately. Bento gives actionable tips on email deliverability and recommends sending in batches.

Cons

They are rebuilding their docs now so it was challenging to learn about its features. I found it challenging to embed an image countdown using their text editor.

I’ve worked with several email marketing platforms, and this one is the most flexible and most sensible. It still doesn’t have everything I need yet, but the team already has it on their roadmap - and I still haven’t explored all the system’s features myself.

Pros

Email deliverability: my emails don’t end up coming from banned IPs! I’m still struggling a bit with email HTML/layout, but much less than before, and their new AI features do help. The product is genuinely evolving, and you can actually influence the roadmap. With the proper event-based approach and a clear focus on SaaS, I honestly don’t see any real alternatives to them (at least for now).

Cons

What I liked the least was their .NET SDK, but I extended/fixed it myself and now everything’s fine.

Bento allowed me to get started quickly with a new project, and integrate both life cycle and event based email very quickly for my new SaaS application. Developer documentation was very strong, and the UI was very clear.

Pros

Bento is a fantastic email and marketing automation tool. It gives you everything that you need, in a great looking design and thoughtfully crafted application. You can tell that they're on the cutting edge of marketing and SaaS with this product

Cons

Pros

Bento is amazing once you get familiar with how everything fits together. The onboarding is very good, and the UI becomes genuinely enjoyable once you wrap your head around the logic. The internal AI tool for building flows is a fantastic feature and makes experimentation far easier than expected. Analytics are great, and the pricing feels very fair for what you get.

Cons

It can feel a little overwhelming at first, especially if you are new to email service providers or automation tools. That said, this is softened a lot by their excellent onboarding experience. The free onboarding call is genuinely helpful, and the support team often, the \[sensitive content hidden\] is always available, which makes the early learning curve much less intimidating.

Very positive overall. Once set up, the platform is easy to work with, reliable, and flexible. The combination of automation, data management, and email capabilities makes it a strong long-term solution for our needs.

Pros

Excellent value for the amount of functionality you get. Bento handles marketing and transactional emails in one place, with strong automation options and solid email management. It replaced several tools for us.

Cons

Nothing in particular stood out as a downside. Because the platform offers so many features, it takes some time to explore everything it can do.

Bento is a solid product. It lets me focus on building my SaaS without having to worry about email deliverability and all that side of things.

I use Bento for email marketing and transactional notifications, allowing me to broadcast campaigns to customers and newsletter subscribers. The platform is intuitive, beautiful, and functional, with quick signup workflows that let me streamline my tasks. I also integrate my own software with it via API.

Pros

I love how intuitive and beautiful Bento is in its design, making it a seamless experience to use. Everything just works flawlessly, allowing me to quickly go through sign-up workflows without any hassle. This efficiency means I can focus on my core work instead of being bogged down with setting up email workflows or handling cumbersome tasks. Bento simplifies my life by being efficient and user-friendly, ensuring that I get to dedicate my time to the most important aspects of my job.

Cons

Nothing. Can't complain whatsoever! Yes, there could be more AI automation, but that's a new territory and they're actually coming up with customer support with AI and I'll be first in line to try it when it comes out!
