### "Great Source For Higher Paying Positions"

June 14, 2022

5.0

Glassdoor is on the top of the list of quality job boards. It brings in the highest quality candidates to your more difficult jobs to fill. People using Glassdoor know that this is a quality job board with quality jobs.

Pros

You can really focus on showcasing your company culture and attract qualified candidates to your company as opposed to a certain job title. Getting candidates to buy into your company before just the job is imperative to finding a candidate that will stay for the long haul

Cons

It's a bit hard to navigate at first as it's unlike normal job boards. It's quite dynamic. Once you learn how to navigate all the tools it is worth the initial frustrations.

Reason for choosing Glassdoor

Anyone who knows Glassdoor knows they are a high end job board that quality candidates use to get the highest paying and best jobs from.

### "My Glassdoor Website Experience "

February 21, 2023

5.0

Glassdoor has made it much easier for people like myself to gain insight into the culture and work environment of any particular organization. Not only does it allow me to read reviews from current and former employees, but also provides a concise yet comprehensive overview of the company in question. This website has a very user-friendly interface to make navigation easier for me.

Pros

One of the most unique features of JobFind is that employees can leave ratings and reviews on opportunities related to career growth and development. This feature can have helped me to assess potential employers and decide whether a particular job is a right fit for me.

Cons

I experienced some limitations while using the platform. Glassdoor reviews cannot always be taken as gospel truth. It is open to anyone to post their reviews, so it can be hard to verify if they are credible or unbiased. It is possible that some reviews come from current or ex-employees who have had a bad experience and are disgruntled.

### "Glassdoor has power but there is limited support for employers"

May 16, 2024

3.0

Glassdoor is a necessary tool that should be included in your employer brand strategy. I reckon a proactive approach to the platform that get the most of out it. More recently, I've watched Guru become a place for underperforming ex-employees to crucify employers. Glassdoor hasn't innovated much in 6+ years of using the platform so hopefully they build additional value and features to identify ex-employees posting multiple reviews.

Pros

Glassdoor can be fantastically powerful when it comes to features like analytics tracking impressions and page views. This is a really useful tool to measure your employer brand and you can often attribute spikes in volume to PR or other announcements. To increase awareness on employees reviewing, you can generate campaign links in a seamless automated way. It is easy to customise the employer brand within the portal and easy to use.

Cons

Glassdoor has limited support when it comes to employees abusing a Glassdoor profile. In multiple instances, we've had single employees post numerous fake reviews (which were proven) and it took weeks for Glassdoor to react to this flag and remove these reviews. Whilst I understand they need to ensure employers can't remove bad reviews, it is important to ensure employers are also supported when ex-employees abuse the platform.

### "Glassdoor - A place to learn about companies and jobs!"

September 6, 2022

5.0

Glassdoor has been crucial to finding quality candidates for open roles and helping showcase the employer brand to highlight culture, benefits, sentiment, etc. It is a great platform to not only help job seekers but companies looking for the right fit as well!

Pros

Glassdoor's UI is extremely easy to use and has an appealing look and feel to navigation. Making changes to your profile, adding resume and job history information, creating email notifications - these are features that are very important to job seekers and make finding a company to work for a joy to find.

Cons

Sometimes it is hard to search for specific companies due to their elastic search function, but overall it's an easy work around.

### "Glassdoor is the go to place to know more about companies"

July 14, 2022

5.0

My experience with the app was overall a good one, being able to read reviews about different companies, and getting to know more about the job market.

Pros

I like the most the fact that I can see interviews, job posting, salary informations and company reviews for different companies on the app, allowing the candidate to kind of filter during the job hunting process.

Cons

The candidate profile could be improved allowing the user to add more informations about himself.

### "Good website for seeking vacancies "

September 10, 2022

3.0

Its good. However, when you are looking for a job, you cant miss galssdoor as its one of the reputed websites to find your new career with.

Pros

I like the way they organize the website structure, its good and straight forward. Plus, they provide some good features like salaries and companies reviews.

Cons

I start feeling that a lot of their vacancies are not real. Its impossible to apply for hundreds of jobs that matching 100% my skills and experience without even being called from the employer! But, I can't blame glassdoor. It may be a fake position from the employer himself.

### "Best website for an individual to anonymously review any company he/she worked on"

July 7, 2021

5.0

Overall I could see that there is a monopoly of Glassdoor when reviewing a company anonymously. Hence, this platform is recommended by everyone who works in any organization to get the inside news and take appropriate future decisions.

Pros

1\. This tool enables the public to know the inside view of the company which he has applied for or going to join soon. 2. Revealing review to the public is a great way to identify if the company is functioning in an employee-friendly way.

Cons

Whistleblowing can sometimes lead to consequences if the person has not anonymously reviewed his company which may impact his hard time if the person is the employer of the same company.

### "Glassdoor to help finding your candidates"

October 7, 2022

4.0

Glassdoor is recommended to both companies and job seekers as its one of the largest online job posting and searching site. It is easy to use and setup your profile and it helps you managing your contacts and history.

Pros

Glassdoor is one of the most recognized job and candidate posting website therefore having a very large database and available options for both employers and candidates. You can search resumes with specific key words to find the best candidates with experiences, making it easier to connect your business with the right candidates.

Cons

Information is open to public and any recruiter, you can get unsolicited emails or phone calls

### "The idea of Glassdoor is great, but I have concerns around review legitimacy"

April 17, 2021

4.0

Pros

Glassdoor often gives a great insight into what to expect from working with a company - in day to day internal works, expectations and salary. If used correctly, it can help forge decisions and help employees understand if they are the right fit. It can also be used to hold employers accountable for maintaining a good working experience. The platform works well and is simple.

Cons

I think it is often used incorrectly and therefore used to manipulate. Often, employers will prompt for employees to leave a review whilst they are working for them or only a few months into their position which somewhat forces them to leave overly positive reviews through fear of backlash. Especially for smaller companies, it is easy to tell who has left a negative review from the job title they have specified. Employers will often try to hide negative reviews by getting employees to leave multiple positive reviews after a negative. You have to be signed in to do most things and mobile has a lot of popups.

### "My simple preview of Glassdoor"

June 9, 2022

4.0

My experience has been successful and I have received many responses from advertisers and entities with whom I was interested, thank you Glassdoor.

Pros

The software is easy to use and has an excellent offer which makes it comfortable to use continuously,I liked all the features of the software and look forward to seeing more creativity.

Cons

All features are good, but there is no harm in further development of the opportunity matching system with the user's profile, whether it's requesting detailed user data or using additional algorithms to understand that proportionality.

Pros

I like that Glassdoor has a large amount of job postings.

### "Glassdoor in job search journey"

February 4, 2022

3.0

Pros

the most I liked about this software is that you can check up the average salaries for such a job, I kinda use it as an indicator of whether I'm getting scammed with job offers or not because its based on real people reporting which I love

Cons

the way that you apply to jobs & filling everything always is annoying, they should be more like Indeed with their prefilled from your profile

Pros

I love how easy it is to browse jobs & search for particular jobs in any are of the U.S. I find many pertinent listings. This is definitely one of my favorite job search applications.

### "Informative job search"

June 30, 2021

5.0

its amazing, found interesting information while applying jobs.

Pros

There are lot. Good way to apply jobs with a lot of information about the company, salary estimations, the interview questions and a lot. It gives the information how the job is divided and how the salary is ranging for a particular job. People applied for job and people who got a job will be posting sample interview questions and answers which is of very help when attending an interview.

Cons

nothing as of such can make the phone application better as it is a bit lag in the phone application.

### "Know the Employees Experience"

April 2, 2021

5.0

I get to have a peak on how does the company impact its employee through glassdoor, you can see how satisfied they are when it comes to flexibility of working hours, salary and compensation, allowance and incentive, including employees recommendation if it's worth it to apply to a certain job. The things that we need to know that aren't shown on the job postings of HRs are posted in Glassdoor. So before you apply glassdoor should be a good platform to use.

Pros

I like that it has a fair feature where you can see the salary of specific jobs from specific companies. It gives you the idea of how much can they offer and if it's worth it to apply on a job.

Cons

I think they should market the Glassdoor more to reach out for more users so that the resources and information found on the software would grow as well, because it's not complete at all, but I cannot blame them because all the views and opinions stated on Glassdoor are purely from real employers and that's what important for me.
