### "Ok for basic stuff, not good to build a strong employer brand"

September 26, 2025

1.0

Pros

It had most basic things a company would need to create a page, though some functionalities didnt work well. For example: I wasnt able to upload photos easily.

Cons

The review management is hard to understand. The website loads very slowly. The number of reviews for small companies are very less, hence not very useful.

### "Simple to use & updated continuously. "

December 13, 2024

4.0

Besides that one situation I found myself in requiring me to leave a review to read reviews, I have been very satisfied with Glassdoor. I have found jobs offered on this particular app that were not advertised on indeed. I also feel Glassdoor does a better job at deleting postings that are expired or nolonger accepting applicants.

Pros

Glassdoor has an abundance of job listings in my area & keeps the available jobs updated consistently.

Cons

In order to read reviews of a company I was interested in applying for, Glassdoor required me to first review a company. I came across this recently, however the company I was working for was not available to review. This was a little frustrating & made me wonder if people left a review without actually working for that company, simply to gain access to reviews.

### "Glassdoor - Essential Product for Any Jobseeker"

December 31, 2024

5.0

Excellent. I have applied to many jobs and also researched salaries and job culture for many positions.

Pros

It is a very easy-to-use platform for applying to jobs online and also provides great salary statistics and comprehensive employee reviews of many employers. The reviews provide a great sense of a company's culture and benefits provided as well.

Cons

There is no verification process of reviews so there is a chance they might not be completely accurate or biased.

### "Glassdoor is more than a sourcing tool"

June 24, 2024

4.0

Pros

In addition to posting job ads and managing applicant flow, Glassdoor also provides candidates with insights into company culture, which cultivates a more interested and informed candidate pool. With Glassdoor, I can monitor and reply to reviews to help manage online reputation and keep information accurate and up to date.

Cons

It isn't a good resource for sourcing via keywords or boolean - but that isn't what it is designed for.

### "Door To Career"

August 3, 2022

5.0

I use glassdoor monthly, to explore pay scales offered by various companies in my domain. This is very beneficial for one's personal growth, to check the job pay-scale status of a certain job level, and to drive the motivation for working in the dream companies.

Pros

I love the Search feature in general in this whole module. Searching a company, a job posting, a job title, a salary, or a location works well for everything. I get to compare, review and learn about the different pay scales of many companies. The best thing about this is that the data is real-time, taken from the company's previous employees with their reliability percentage.

Cons

The software does not have a good tracking module for jobs applied by a user. It is a good thing that the user is directed to a company's official website. However, a way to track the applications can make it easy to save time for a follow-up on applications.

### "My review of glass door"

November 7, 2022

5.0

Loved it

Pros

What I liked most was, you can tell the insides of how a company is run because you can go through all of the reviews that people have posted and the pay rates of those specific positions. You can tell what the work life balance is for that company, and what the culture is in the workplace this is a really good tool to use when you are researching a company before you apply to them. I wish I had listened more to the reviews because they were pretty accurate when I went to work for a previous company that told me one thing but then when I got hired on, it really wasn’t that way.

Cons

Nothing that I can think of. Like I said, in the above section, I didn’t use many features, except for the features that allowed me to research companies. Glass door does a phenomenal job of allowing you to look at reviews of companies in the CEO in the work culture.

Very positive, I have found many different job opportunities on the Glassdoor App and employer information as well as wage information.

Pros

I like all the different features that Glassdoor has to offer. It is very convenient that all of these features are located in one spot and easy to navigate.

Cons

There is nothing I do not like about the Glassdoor App.

### "Glassdoor is great for discovering job opportunities"

December 14, 2021

5.0

Glassdoor is an amazing tool and has allowed me to see interview questions, salaries, or benefits offered for job positions prior to applying to postings, which can save a lot of time or awkwardness asking hiring managers.

Pros

A feature of Glassdoor I enjoy using is the Save button option. Users can save many jobs they are interested in their accounts. Glassdoor also has a great way of organizing different employer accounts, making it easy for users to search for companies and then read reviews, salaries, or benefits based on a specific organization.

Cons

I don't like how Glassdoor requires an account for users to use their service. In order to read specific reviews, users must write a review on a company they worked for previously, which is time-consuming and can be uncomfortable for those who do not want to share their work experience.

### "Excellent app to know new opportunities"

December 5, 2020

5.0

It gives elaborate data about the organization's structure, review, overview, salaries, past interviewer suggestions, and quick data which can be used before giving an interview to a company. Easy to use and have many insights helps to go through the interview rounds and get it cleared. Less expensive and user friendly on both the web-based and mobile platforms.

Pros

The most important part of Glassdoor is the Interview questions option, which helps the job seekers to know more about the company and its interview process. Keep you the updated information about the positions and opportunities available in the company.

Cons

Sometimes I see a few fake reviews and employees post reviews on frustration which brings a false impression on the company. They don't have a resume search option in them, so that recruited can make use of it. You can't make a connection with individuals to know more about the interview process. It doesn't have an in-build application tracking system in it like some of its competitors.

### "Very useful job board site."

February 28, 2023

4.0

Pros

I like that Glassdoor has a large amount of job postings.

Cons

I don’t like that whenever I apply to a job, Glassdoor sets up an email notification to be sent to me with daily open jobs in the location where I just applied. It’s too much.

### "Glassdoor in job search journey"

February 4, 2022

3.0

Pros

the most I liked about this software is that you can check up the average salaries for such a job, I kinda use it as an indicator of whether I'm getting scammed with job offers or not because its based on real people reporting which I love

Cons

the way that you apply to jobs & filling everything always is annoying, they should be more like Indeed with their prefilled from your profile

### "Job Hunting Just Got Better"

February 4, 2021

Truly a wonderful experience and would highly recommend to others!

Pros

I really liked the breadth and depth of the postings on Glassdoor. In addition, there are salary insights as well as reviews from people who work at that company. It really provides a terrific way to get a glimpse of company culture and the interview process.

Cons

I did not like how you have to pay or sign in to get the best insights from Glassdoor. The website locks you out if you do not have a subscription so you do not get access to everything if you are not signed in. That being said, it is worth it!

### "Glassdoor to help finding your candidates"

October 7, 2022

4.0

Glassdoor is recommended to both companies and job seekers as its one of the largest online job posting and searching site. It is easy to use and setup your profile and it helps you managing your contacts and history.

Pros

Glassdoor is one of the most recognized job and candidate posting website therefore having a very large database and available options for both employers and candidates. You can search resumes with specific key words to find the best candidates with experiences, making it easier to connect your business with the right candidates.

Cons

Information is open to public and any recruiter, you can get unsolicited emails or phone calls

### "The idea of Glassdoor is great, but I have concerns around review legitimacy"

April 17, 2021

4.0

Pros

Glassdoor often gives a great insight into what to expect from working with a company - in day to day internal works, expectations and salary. If used correctly, it can help forge decisions and help employees understand if they are the right fit. It can also be used to hold employers accountable for maintaining a good working experience. The platform works well and is simple.

Cons

I think it is often used incorrectly and therefore used to manipulate. Often, employers will prompt for employees to leave a review whilst they are working for them or only a few months into their position which somewhat forces them to leave overly positive reviews through fear of backlash. Especially for smaller companies, it is easy to tell who has left a negative review from the job title they have specified. Employers will often try to hide negative reviews by getting employees to leave multiple positive reviews after a negative. You have to be signed in to do most things and mobile has a lot of popups.

### "One of the best tools for searching for employment"

December 9, 2022

5.0

For the most part, Glassdoor is great. There are so many listings and companies to choose from.

Pros

I love how easy it is to browse jobs & search for particular jobs in any are of the U.S. I find many pertinent listings. This is definitely one of my favorite job search applications.

Cons

The only con is that Glassdoor sometimes emails me jobs that are not what I'm looking for. I just sift through to find the ones that interest me.

### "Glassdoor continues to break the glass ceiling."

May 9, 2022

5.0

Pros

I like the fact that job postings are easier. I love the fact that this particular platform notifies those using the platform. The fact that Glassdoor also notifies people applying for positions at a company what other positions are available for that same company is helpful and great.

Cons

There was nothing I liked least about this software.

### "A requirement for recruiting"

September 27, 2022

Slightly frustrating due to it now being tied with Indeed, and the support being sub par.

Pros

It's so widely used that you know you will get at least some ROI from it.

Cons

Because it's now tied to Indeed, when one system has an error, the other will as well.

### "Glassdoor better talent meets good employers "

February 17, 2023

Overall experience is average.

Pros

Glassdoor provides a better interface with ai features for both, employers and applicant. It is contained with all required information points, you have to complete your profiles with real data. It is better at some points compare to LinkedIn.

Cons

Employers cant post job directly, if it is true, not liked in my opinion.

Reason for choosing Glassdoor

LinkedIn is also a great option
