From the beginning, the platform has been easy to understand, easy to use, and has made managing our customer reviews much simpler. As a busy business owner, I really appreciate having a system that takes something that can easily get overlooked and makes it quick and convenient. Pros What I like most about TrueReview is how easy it is to use and how little of a learning curve there is. The user interface is straightforward and makes it easy to manage our account, customers, and review requests without having to spend a lot of time figuring things out. From a business marketing standpoint, TrueReview has been extremely valuable. It makes asking customers for reviews simple and consistent, which has helped us build our online reputation without adding another time-consuming task to our day. The features are practical and actually useful for a business like ours, rather than being complicated features we don't need. For the value we get from the platform, I feel TrueReview is well worth the money. It has become a very useful part of our overall marketing strategy and has made managing the review process much easier. Cons Honestly, there isn't much I dislike about TrueReview. The platform has been easy to use and has worked very well for our business. If anything, I would simply like to see even more features and customization options added over time as the platform continues to grow. Support was quick to respond and assist with any questions. Cons The lack of SMS availability in Australia was a bit disappointing. Hopefully this is something that will be available down the line. Cons The Zapier integrations have been iffy. We linked our QBO, but sometimes the phone number appears, and sometimes it does not, which means no text goes out. Regarding the phone number issue, we took a closer look and the inconsistency is occurring on the QuickBooks side, where the phone number is not always present in the data being sent. When the number is included in QuickBooks, Zapier and TrueReview process it correctly and the text is sent without issue. If the number is missing upstream, no SMS can be triggered. Our previous third-party solution was delivering declining responses and was limited. I found it very easy to get GTM's brand set-up and our first requests sent out. The scheduling feature for sending batch requests is a great feature. Pros Very easy to use and get up and running. The learning curve is minimal. True Review offers several options for how the review rating is displayed. Customization of messaging is simple to do. The dashboard is effective for getting a snapshot of current state of your reviews and requests. There are tutorials and a search functionality for help files if you need it. TrueReview's verified email domain for sending our email requests is a plus to ensure good deliverability. Cons I wish that you could have multiple users for free so that service people could send out a request to someone they helped over chat or phone. Any question was answered quickly by team members- and our new account was up and running in a fraction of the time we estimated. We've implemented the API to post reviews to our website- also seamless. We are thrilled with this feature-rich, budget friendly review platform! My client was happy that we go them more reviews from 50 requests than they got in 5 years. Cons Setting up SMS was a little harder, but that was my issue as I did not have the time t set it up.
