It would be great to have an option of downloading search results in some format (csv, pdf etc) Pros I like that you don't pay for it, you can explore your websites search data very easily, it is a good seo tool for marketing , you can improve keywords and website rank through it. Cons The new version of Search console is a bit harder than the old one, there are differences between Console data and Google analytics, which is confusing and should be fixed. " June 10, 2022 5.0 It is an initial gateway to inter our website into the google search. It crawls our website and ranks on google search which takes more than 3 months without submitting to the search console. But after submitting the sitemap on the Google Search Console, it takes around a week to crawl by google bots and rank our pages according to the quality. After that, we need to optimize our site for a higher ranking. Pros It helps us to visible our website in search ranking. And another important feature of Google Search Console is the sitemap.xml submission, it helps to submit all the URLs of our website for crawling and search ranking. Cons It is difficult to decipher the charts and information it gives you, depending on what you’re trying to see. Search traffic charts are relatively easy to understand, but when you start getting into which pages on your site are indexed on Google, you get into site map territory and any abnormalities are relatively difficult to figure out and fix through this service. Installation and activation take no time with the plugin, and you will be directed immediately to verify your web ownership. Besides useful reports on how your website performs, if Google has any problem indexing your webpages, Search Console will keep you informed and give detailed explanation on the cause and how to fix it. Cons The time lag from when I fix the problem as per the Google Search Console's crawl error reports to when Google actually validates the fix can be unusually long. I suppose you can contact the Search Console team directly for an earlier update, but fixes for simple errors should really be automatically validated.
