### "Boa plataforma"

July 26, 2023

4.0

Pros

### "Very solid mapping product for optimizing sales routing and territory planning"

March 14, 2023

5.0

Overall, it has been exactly what I need and allows me to continue to manage my business effectively.

Pros

I have used BatchGeo for almost 10 years across 3 different companies. It is easy to use, easy to teach, and easy to get help if needed. Importing the data into the maps is super simple and the range of customizing options is outstanding!

Cons

Data points are limited to 150 lines and editing an existing map is limited on free version.

### "Great for mapping "

March 14, 2023

4.0

Too many emails

Pros

Love how you can change the pins manually if needed, quick mapping system

Cons

I don't like that it sends me an email every time I make a map, I just want to copy and paste the map somewhere. I wish it could also handle more pins on one map

### "Not worth any money "

March 15, 2023

4.0

Pros

I like that I can make a map but beyond that BAtchGeo is only trying to make money. I can make the same map on google maps. I just want to use the free functions and you have made it too hard to even do that these days. I loved Batch Geo for a long time but now it is just a pain in the ass and it isnt even accuarate any more. My last map was completely wrong and I have been using the same template for years.

Cons

Product quality and ease of use is way down

### "Great tool but expensive for individual users"

March 14, 2023

5.0

I have used this product for about 5 years. It filled the missing link in my genealogy research. I only need about 10 charts. One that I did was I entered every single JOHN BARKER in the 1790, 1800, 1810 and 1829 US Census in the state of New York. What a fantastic way to observe movement and family gatherings. I absolutely love it.

Pros

The ease of importing a spreadsheet is fantastic. The speed at which it renders is great.

Cons

For an individual user (researching Genealogy) the price has ballooned beyond my capacity. I keep only less than 10 maps. Having to pay for them when I am the only user is beyond reasonable for me. I have shown them to other Genealogy researchers and they LOVE the product. But they also reject the price for our simple usage.

Reason for choosing BatchGeo

Originally because of the "Free" account. A perfect fit for my limited use.

### "Quick and easy solution"

August 24, 2021

4.0

We occasionally need to identify the suppliers closest to a given location. Just looking at postcodes via other tools is not enough (some online measuring tools ignore the fact that there are major waterways in between, for example!). BatchGeo enables us to visualize immediately who is 'within easy reach' of somewhere.

Pros

BatchGeo needs no manual: you simply access the site, do a copy-paste from Excel, and have instantly usable maps corresponding to whatever locations you need to visualize.

Cons

We've only used the most basic level of functionality, but that already meets our needs. Others may have more complex scenarios. Does it integrate with What3Words or similar schemes? I don't know - maybe that could be useful in the future for greater accuracy than postcodes... but for us, UK postcodes are plenty.

### "Great Help to Visualize People Locations"

August 19, 2021

5.0

Pros

Creating a map is pretty simple. I export data from our church management software as a spreadsheet, delete unnecessary information, rearrange columns to match BatchGeo's columns (probably not necessary), and upload the spreadsheet. BatchGeo takes the addresses and plots them on a map that I can access and share. In the map itself, I like that I can view where individuals live and see their information by hovering my cursor over the pin or I can use the tools to see logical geographical groupings of people or to see a spreadsheet-like presentation of the underlying data. I very much like the fact that there is a free version.

Cons

For my use, a subscription is too expensive ($99.00 per month). I wish there were a level that was, say, $5.00 per month that would allow me to create maps with up to 5,000 markers per map, 2 users, etc. Therefore, I use the free version and have to be sure to access my maps at regular intervals.

### "BatchGeo For The Win!"

March 14, 2023

5.0

Overall BatchGeo saves time, saves energy, and helps me manage a long list of clients throughout the state.

Pros

BatchGeo couldn't be more simple to use and is something I reference every week before decided which client visits to make, based on similar locations. I also love that it can plan the most efficient route, which helps keep mileage low and saves me time!

Cons

I don't have any negative impressions of BatchGeo, I really enjoy the program.

### "Essential to our Business"

August 31, 2021

5.0

100% positive.

Pros

The best thing about BatchGeo is the ease of use. Using data import tools and the map wizard, we are able to create a useful custom map in under a minute! Then we can share that may across our teams in seconds. This lets us visualize the project we are working on in ways and with speed that is impossible to match using other tools.

Cons

The only thing I can think of is that we can't use the software to markup a map once it has been rendered. We would like to keep the map static but mark or update a location as 'completed' using the same MAP URL.

Reason for choosing BatchGeo

ESRI was simply too expensive for our needs.

### "Great Sales-person tool!"

March 16, 2023

5.0

Pros

Love that I can overlay all my prospective, and clients, on a map. Schedules always change. The map allows me to be very nimble and efficient in my ever changing days. I would personally attribute about 25% gain-of-field time to BatchGeo by keeping the drive times as minimal as possible.

Cons

Cons.... once you understand how to get really creative with the import tools, there really is no cons. I've used hyperlinks on the data to link to other data or a CRM platform.

Need to be able to configure output for specific needs or accent features on map.

Pros

Being able to import site data exported from Excel address data.

Cons

Sometimes highways are not prominent in the map output as much as I would like. Would also like to choose features defined on map. Would like to be able to define better arra for printing..

### "BatchGeo is an excellent tool for geocoding addresses"

March 14, 2023

5.0

BatchGeo has been an absolutely delightful product doing exactly what I needed it to do and very easy to use.

Pros

When we need to show the locations of a group of addresses on one map, BatchGeo is perfect. It is very easy to use -- import addresses from Excel or CSV and it locates all that have a valid address. The free version is quite robust.

Cons

I haven't figured out how to edit individual data elements, so when I have an error in my data, I re-do the whole dataset. It is so fast to do with the small sets of data that I work with that it is not a problem, but it might be nice to know if there is a way to edit the map elements after the map is created.

Reason for choosing BatchGeo

I did not consider any others. BatchGeo was the first product I found and it works great, so no need to look further.

### "6+ year user"

March 14, 2023

5.0

Works plenty well for my purpose.

Pros

Very easy to use and export the maps. Plenty of customization and allows for data to be embedded to each location and accessed later.

Cons

Sometimes it is difficult to label the properties as I intend to. If I have two types of properties and want one type to be colored in red and labeled A, B, C, D, etc, and the other one to be colored in blue and labeled 1, 2, 3, 4, etc, it can be difficult to accomplish.

### "The fastest easiest tool I've found for mapping cold calling leads"

March 21, 2023

5.0

I've used this tool for years and love it!

Pros

I love how fast and easy it is to create a map for my cold calling trips. Takes just a couple of minutes and I likd that I can color the pins based on data I need to know before I visit accounts.

Cons

Sometimes the filters/attributes don't come out right on the data preview that's on each account. Likely user error, but it isn't a major concern.

### "A Straightforward, Easy-to-Use Data-Mapping Platform"

August 25, 2021

5.0

I've used BatchGeo throughout the past couple years for help on data analysis projects to make charts and graphs that would otherwise be impossible to pull together. I was first drawn to the platform because it offered a free service, but soon found myself using it for the ease of use and access that I was seeking. I'd highly recommend the platform to those looking for data mapping services!

Pros

BatchGeo offers a startling amount of features and capabilities at the low entry price of free. Users can upload a data set and see that mapped with a solid amount of options for how it displays. As somebody seeking mapping software without added fees, this really helps give me an opportunity to dive in.

Cons

Some of the higher-level features (heat-mapping, password-protected maps, PDF exports, etc.) are locked behind a membership wall. However, you would have access to MANY features in the meantime, so it's still worth taking it for a spin!
