Pros

  • Using media encoder for the very first time was a great relieve to me, superfast and the most amazing thing is its integration abilities with other Adobe Product.

  • I love the idea of this software existing the most, everytime I use it I thank god for its existence. Plus its ease of use and its options for rendering.

  • Another aspect I truly appreciate is that the amount of codecs in which we can export projects are very good. The rendering time is very good and the UI of the app is nice.

  • What I like the most about this software is that it implements so smoothly with the Adobe products such as: Premiere Pro and After Effects. They work perfectly together.

Cons

  • Sometimes the interface is slow, is hard to use in low-end/mid-range pc's, sometimes it can take so much ram so you need to be carefull.

  • Sometimes the program will crash if there are too many videos exporting at the same time (or they are very large files).

  • And the program does not warn you about it. With high compression of input files (e.g. from a drone or a sports cam), badly converted areas (pixel spots) are created.

  • Often, a compile-time error pops up if there is less disk space than 2 times the size of the output file.

"My work in editing non-stop"

Overall: The program is enough that I do not wait for the export to start another project the program in a way that makes me well maintain working time

Pros: Easy of the program with many options in video output to suit all sizes, extensions and platforms ,In addition to facilitating the montage process for 4K materials By proxy feature

Cons: Not accepting import all video extensions or conversionTherefore, we need other programs to do this, and it is very stressful when working on Mac devices that do not have conversion programs that also accept all extensions

Reasons for Switching to Media Encoder: The time factor and waiting for export is the most important factor, especially because I work with television programs and drama that need a long time to export

"Really Enhances Adobe Experience"

Pros: It's a versatile and powerful tool that seamlessly integrates with other Adobe Creative Cloud applications, making my video production process incredibly efficient. Whether I'm rendering, optimizing, or compressing videos for my channel, Adobe Media Encoder consistently delivers top-notch results. It offers a wide range of output format options, ensuring my content is compatible with various platforms. The software is also remarkably user-friendly, with a straightforward interface that's perfect for both beginners and experienced users. Its batch processing capabilities have saved me a lot of time, allowing me to work on multiple videos simultaneously.

Cons: One drawback is that Adobe Media Encoder is not available as a standalone product and requires a subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud, which may be a downside for those who prefer one-time purchase options.

"A must-have for video pros who have decent devices"

Pros: The batch processing feature is a massive time-saver, and it handles large, complex files like a champ.

Cons: It requires a decent amount of system resources, so I had some issues with the tool on older devices.
