Pros The product has the capability to be customized for whatever use case is needed making it extremely user friendly Cons Nothing really negative. It can be frustrating since the product is being developed but keeping that in mind, when you face any obstacles the RF-Smart team has always been extremely helpful in coming to a solution or providing a work-around until the obstacle is removed. The system functions as intended and has integrated well into our operations. During the implementation phase, the support we received was great and any issues or concerns were addressed promptly, which helped ensure a smooth rollout. Pros The ability to provide real-time visibility into the movement of items. The interface is user-friendly and intuitive, making it easy for staff to learn and use. Additionally, the ability to customize RF-SMART to align with our specific business processes, enabling us to tailor the system to meet unique operational requirements. Cons One challenge we’ve faced with RF-SMART is the printer setup. Because we operate across multiple sites with a large number of printers, having the option to easily connect USB printers directly to the system would have made the setup considerably simpler for our use case. Additionally, we occasionally experience unexpected failures e.g. with pick/pack. When we attempt to replicate the issue in a sandbox environment, everything works as expected. Then retrying the same action in production works, which makes troubleshooting sometimes difficult to diagnose. For whatever concern, question, need that we could have, RF-SMART always provides a solution. Additionally, the support team is ideal with prompt and detailed responses. Pros The top benefit to RF-SMART WMS is the ease of use. Because of how user-friendly RF-SMART is for warehouse management, it has been the easiest to get the team onboard with using. The ease of use factor also makes changes, optimizations, and added bundles that much simpler to implement. Cons Generally, there is not much that we dislike about RF-SMART. I will say, the configuration tends to be tricky, but all in all, I guess the only complaint we could have is the price. With that being said, who wouldn't want to pay less and save money? RF-SMART has enabled many continuous improvement projects and has become a fundamental part of our day to day operations. Pros Assembly Build Picking (without the WIP and Routing module) and Cycle Counting via the Directed Count function have had a significant effect on our accuracy and efficiency on a daily basis; we have centered many other processes around the two functions. Cons Although I do not speak for our company as a whole, my least favorite portion of RF-SMART was navigating the information separated between the new custom transactions related to Assembly Build Picking. Specifically, we struggled to find a way to compare and verify the equivalence of the Work Order Quantity, Pick State Quantity, Bin Transfer Quantity and Bin On Hand Quantity. We eventually found our solution by using Analytics Workbooks to connect Datasets, which immediately improved our ability to catch errors and ensure pick accuracy. Easy to train employees on. Transfer receiving could improve once we have the newest way to transfer receive fixed and this would give us another way to print pricing stickers which is needed. Pros The stock counting features are great and easy to use. Physical Inventory stock counts also great. Printing set up for 2 different labels has been helpful. Would still love a way to bulk print stickers for new store openings or sale seasons. Cons We are still needing to solve for Receive Order (TO) and this has been going on since March launch. This is the newest function for receiving orders and we are still getting error messages and not able to receive this way making it not possible to print labels from transfer receiving. This is something we had hoped would be solved for in the first 2 months. All other functionalities work great though. Not only do I really like their WMS but their team is phenominal. Everyone I have worked with and interacted with has been extremely helpful and always willing to help. I went to the user summit and had the pleasure of meeting the \[sensitive content hidden\] and he was also just as friendly and helpful as all the other employees I have worked with. If you come up with any ideas or ways for the product to improve they will dedicate resources to understanding your idea and are very receptive to that feedback. I cant say enough good things about the company culture and products. Pros I like how innovative RF-Smart is and that you can also customize as needed. The team is quick to answer and always willing to help. The platform is also very user friendly so I dont have pushback from our employees when I train them and they are able to feel comfortable quickly. After initial training I dont have to worry about getting questions from the warehouse on how to use. Cons One thing I feel could be more helpful is related to new releases of the products. We have done some customizations and then in future releases some of those customizations have been added to the base product. Im bad at looking up release notes so I take blame on this as well, but it would be nice to receive more information related to new releases if you are using customized functions so I can know if I should switch back to the core functions. Maybe its just something I can add to a yearly review with my account rep to make sure we arent missing out on any new features. Cons Until recently, a settings change applied would have impact across the business. I'm happy to say now that there are new functions to apply settings per location and/or user. I have grown as a manager working side by side with RF-SMART on some things as well. I could go on & on about how many things are easier for my day to day because of the WMS but just know my overall experience with RF-SMART has been very productive & pleasant. I am excited to see what they do next! Pros RF-SMART is a very simple product to use & most importantly it is simple & quick to teach! I really enjoy using it in my warehouse compared to the when I was using all paper- being paperless is very important so that is a huge plus. Best of all RF-SMART has incredible customer service, they are always there for us when we need them & they find the solutions! Cons It is hard to remember that RF-SMART & NetSuite are not in complete sync- other than that it is wonderful. I hate that RF-SMART went from being such a nice company with good leadership to having sharks circling your account looking to squeeze every penny from the relationship. We should be left alone and just given updates and be more self-service. Their reps (which appear to be paid handsomely) probably could have their roles removed and the savings enjoyed by not having them involved could lend themselves to a more pleasant and fair experience. Why waste money on someone that is going to frustrate your customers? Pros We like their mobile UI and even their packstations are nice. Their support team is friendly too. Cons Arrogance of renewal reps. They tried to claim that the agreement we had needed to be scrapped in favor of either a 24% increase for the exact same package we had for 4 years \*or\* a 44% increase to enjoy an update that should have been provided years ago and at no charge.
