Their intentionally difficult website design that impedes the subscription cancellation even felt disingenuous Pros It was the quickest website I could find for a template, which was not special in any sense. Wish I had more patience Cons This service is definitely not worth the high subscription cost. To make matters worse, they hide the cancellation option, making it feel intentionally dishonest and frustrating to opt out. Even though I tried to cancel within minutes of being charged an unwanted monthly fee, customer support refused to issue a refund. Then when I was able to cancel two days after they charged me for a month, they refused to give me a refund. This is NOT customer service. I told them I was going to write this negative review and they cared not at all. Pros I was duped. I believed that their forms could be used for my purposes, but sadly that turned out not to be the case. Cons While the templates appear to be useful, they are not. I attempted to use their forms in the state of Arkansas and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and they were rejected. Clearly the"free Trial" is a credit card number collection gimmick and isn't meant to be free. I cancelled immediately after signing up. It took about 15 minutes for me to see that their form totally didn't work in my state. Still got charged $40, plus a FOREIGN TRANSACTION FEE! They could clearly see that I hadn't used the account at all, insisted that I hadn't cancelled, and then harvested $40 from my credit card. Beware, because you can do much better elsewhere, probably with an honest free trial or at least for less money. Insist on using a US entity. These guys are not that! Pros Nothing. This company has no sense of business ethics or karma. Cons I was charged for over 1 year without my knowledge, with no billing notices, etc. Over $500 was wasted. I didn't log in once. I tried the free-trial and believed I no longer was using. I requested a refund and the customer support was passive aggressive and useless. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. Pros Easy to use with lots of options and worded to my understanding with the legal point of view taken care of . fill in the blanks and print very quick. Cons if i had to pick a down fall it would be the cost since i only use it once a month but I'm willing to pay the cost because i don't have to put much effort in writing or research for the different topics i need. Pros Easy to use and easy to edit , however I was disappointed that a hard copy was not sent to me so I could print it and present it to my potential renter personally, which is a much better way to conduct business. Cons The request that Legal Templates email send a completed copy to my potential renter for an E signature , instead giving me the option to receive the the edited version of my lease contract, so I could print it and deliver it to my potential client personally. I can look at a document without having to pay my lawyer to give me a rough draft. I know everything I need in advance. Cons I feel the software uses type-face and no state logo forms.
