Pros The layout and colour scheme of this language learning program creates a fun way to learn a new language. They start off with simple lessons and move on to difficult ones in order to see how you progress. They also send you daily reminders to complete your lesson of the day in order to keep a streak going, which can make it fun for the user. Cons The paid fees can get pricey and wish they offered more languages. Pros It is your private teacher always available at any time and every time, an application that is easy to deal with, and the best thing about it is that it combines many languages. Tests also force you to memorize and synchronize information. There is a wonderful plan that you put yourself in order to learn and features that you will know when you use this application honestly. You will not regret making this decision. The level of language is getting complicated very smoothly and the complexity of the sentences doesn´t head off the reader. The content helps the reader to find out unknown words in a logical way. besides, its up-to-date context including social awareness is priceless for users that trying to be visible in life. Cons The beginner level of the software does not actually start from scratch. If you have no idea about the alphabet of the language that you want to learn, it does not help your learning adventure. Pros Que hay un seguimiento con las lecciones que se van aprendiendo del idioma y asi uno puede ir complementando sus conocimientos. Ademas, creo que es bueno que la app mediante notificaciones este recordando que hay que seguir con el curso para no perder la continuidad de este. I just love Duolingo! Pros I so much like this app...I can now communicate with a foreign language! I like the fun ways it provides for learning. It is very easy to use, and familiarise with. I love that it is free! I like the progress tracker and the notifications to remind one that it is time to learn... Pros The native speaker voices are very helpful. Cons Duolingo inexplicably introduced numerous little nuggets of mini-lessons that are arranged in curving paths with animated cartoon characters. Moving from one nugget to the next multiplies the mechanics of getting through the subject area. The special vowels in Swedish are not provided on the screen in some of the lessons, making it impossible to respond with the particular required input (giving the word with the special vowel, not provided like Duolingo used to). It's free to use and the most entertaining way to learn a language. It's perfect for learning Spanish or Asian languages. I know how to speak English, but this app helps me to never forget a word. The way you learn certain information through the app is from different angles. Be it dialogues or vocabulary, it is always presented in a creative way where the repetitiveness which is super necessary in learning a language is camouflaged and always feels fresh. Cons What I could see improving in the software is something like developing a reward system which emulates some sort of weekly homework so that it rewards the user in some sort of way if it's completed. Pros Duolingo is a great software for learning foreign languages. The most fantastic feature of it is that you will learn new languages while playing with their following instructions. I have started learning the Spanish language from Duolingo. It seems that Spanish is not very difficult to learn with Duolingo. I have already learned many Spanish word meanings with pictures. F will provide you the learning procedure in your native language so you can learn perfectly. I prefer learning Spanish to English. For using Duolingo you have to select your native language then you have to select which language you prefer to learn from Duolingo. It will keep you notify about your progress and keep you ingage with interesting tasks. Cons Duolingo is my favorite software for learning foreign languages. I do not have any issue with Duolingo. For me, the most helpful feature was the audio lessons, where you can hear how words or specific letters are pronounced, also it gives you the chance to practice your speaking skills; afterward giving feedback (right or wrong answer or pronunciation). Cons Overall, the app is very easy to use and understand, but I would love the see some improvement in the theory section; for a beginner, with no knowledge of the new language, it would be beneficial to have more information about phonetics, orthography, common exceptions and general grammatical and linguistic theories. It's free, it's fun, it's beautifully designed and easy to use. Plus, it has helped my kids work through issues they've had. It saves me from lugging around workbooks and printed sheets, as it's conveniently stored on my phone and their tablets. Pros We LOVE Duolingo. I have 2 children in Kindergarten and Second grade, and we use this app daily to keep current with what they are leaning in English, Math and Spanish. It takes the age of your child and magically figures out what they need to know, what they should be learning and gives them tons of practice lessons to keep their skills fresh. And it's fun! I am not a teacher, so this app takes the guess work out of searching for worksheets online. Cons I have no complaints about anything to do with Duolingo so far. It can help you learn a new language if you use it regularly. After using Duolingo for learning Dutch (up to stage 4), my level exam was A2. Pros I used Duolingo for more than 500 days. The gamification of this program is excellent. You can not put it down at all. The language learning method is especially effective for learning vocabulary. I also use its free events. I use both the mobile version and the desktop version, which have different features, for example, in the desktop version, I can see the grammar training tips. Cons When you use Duolingo for many days and go to the top, it may lose its appeal, especially when the leagues are over.
