I can scan a document in 2 minutes anywhere I have my phone. Pros I like how easy it is to use. It makes sharing documents VERY quick and effortless right from my phone. I appreciate being able to save documents as either a pdf or jpg. Cons I think the quality of the scans are only “okay” but 95% of the time they’re good enough for what I’m trying to accomplish. They are some features that are premium features that I believe could be offered to basic users, but overall, I would recommend this app to anyone needing to scan documents in. Pros It is easy to scan documents with your phone and send them to yourself via email or storing them in Google Drive. Additionally, CamScanner does a great job detecting what parts on the scan are documents and what is not. Cons Scanning as a pdf with text that is highlightable is part of a premium subscription. Camscanner does a lot of things which simply makes other resources redundant. Pros I really appreciate its versatility and that it allows you to scan multiple types of documents. This includes pictures, reports and other records. I also like how its scan function analyses and correctly matches with the shape of the thing I'm scanning. Cons Ads sometimes appear on the screen every now and again which can be annoying. I can wait so this is not a glaring issue and I understand that the company needs monetization from somewhere. Pros It is much easier to use than a physical copier/scanner, especially for oddly sized things like receipts for expense reimbursement, etc. I have never had issues with a document being unreadable or oriented wrong, like I have with traditional copy/scan machines. I also appreciate the options for sharing documents; notably, I can email scanned documents directly to a recipient within the app. Best of all, it is free for basic use (with some paid features). Cons The only feature I would like to see would be the ability to "batch" scan items, but have them saved separately instead of within the same document.
