As someone actively involved in Dropshipping across platforms like eBay and TikTok Shop,AutoDS has helped me streamline and automate many parts of my business. Pros AutoDS takes care of the stock availability and product pricing change on the supplier's site which is very important to me. Cons Occasionally, AutoDS can't process orders automatically due to certain issues and i have to manually re-activate the auto order. Owner Sports Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "AutoDS Starter 400 Plan – Misleading Product Limits" April 16, 2025 1.0 I subscribed to the AutoDS Starter 400 Plan less than 30 days ago, expecting it to allow 400 product imports, as stated on the signup page. However, after importing just 65 products, I received an error stating that I had exceeded my subscription limit due to product variants. Upon reaching out to customer support, I was informed that my plan only allows up to 400 product variants, not 400 individual products. This distinction was not clearly communicated at signup page, and the wording is misleading. "400 Products" strongly implies the ability to list 400 products, yet the actual limitation on variations makes that number significantly smaller. For sellers making business decisions based on these details, such unclear phrasing creates unnecessary confusion and frustration. Because of this, I’m considering using the same service I currently use for my other eBay stores, despite the downside of manual ordering. I urge AutoDS to clarify its plan descriptions so sellers fully understand the limitations upfront. While it claims to include 400 products import, it actually counts product variants separately. For example, a t-shirt with five colors and five sizes is counted as 25 individual variants instead of a single product. As a result, if each item has 25 variants, the plan only allows for 16 unique product listings—far fewer than expected. While the platform's basic features are beneficial, these serious flaws have impacted my business negatively, including unfulfilled orders and lost revenue. Despite numerous attempts to address these issues with customer support, the responses are largely templated and fail to offer real solutions. AutoDS compensated me for unrelated issues over a year ago and once before that, but recent efforts to get proper resolution or compensation for ongoing issues have been met with refusal. It feels like customer concerns are not genuinely valued. Pros AutoDS offers a user-friendly interface with a decent range of features for managing dropshipping activities. The automation tools for listing products and syncing stock initially seemed promising and helpful for scaling an e-commerce business. Cons The stock and price monitoring service is unreliable. This has led to numerous unfulfillable orders and financial losses. When issues with orders come up, they ghost you and tell you theres nothing they can do. Pros Ease of use, easy to import products. Quick responses to emails Cons Customer service. Had an issue with a customers order being cancelled. Inquired as to why and was told i have to contact the supplier myself as they have nothing to do with that. But after it broke, it was not even able to be used. Cons The absolute worst service imaginable. Firstly the connection randomly stopped from eBay, all my products removed and orders can’t be fulfilled. Ending up having to refund a heap of orders. Their support is useless, they DO NOT CARE. It’s been 2 weeks for them to ‘fix’ the issue and yet it’s still not fixed. All I get is “wait a little longer”. They then just ignore you. Or palm the issues off and say “we’ve escalated it for you”. How many times do you need to escalate it? Ridiculous. Use a different software with capable developers and support team.
