They had frequent updates and seemed to really care about what the users wanted. They had a perpetual version. Now that it is owned by Maxon they don't seem to care about the user as much. Pros The many features and tools for sculpting, haven't switched to blender because the scuplting tools just feel so much better Cons The UI, you have to go through so many menus just to find some things. If you don't have a custom layout then it is really hard to find things that you use all the time. It's much more detailed than blender but much easier and customized than autocad software. Pros Zbrush is unlike any other 3d modeling software. It's the industry standard for video game design, 3d printing and 3d modeling and animation. Cons Zbrush really isn't beginner friendly. I had to take paid classes to learn how to use this. Pros I love all the features of Zbrush, it is super intricate and helps me make great work! Even though it is intricate, there are SO many tutorials from the application itself to teach you anything you need - I especially love the custom user-interface, super accessible and helpful. Cons Nothing really, it's a big learning curve but once you understand how it all works it is an amazing bit of kit! Pros It's a feature rich software for sculpting and the iPad version is equally good. Cons The UI is a bit dense in the PC version and iPad version has a subscription model to unlock all the features instead of a one time payment option. The detailing is top notch and the wide set of tools is awesome to use and precisely upto our requirements. Pros With the availability of so many tools to use to sculpt the models, Zbrush is one of the best. We are able to take the high quality model to unreal engine which is a huge plus for us. Cons You have to have a pretty high-end PC for running it smoothly and the cost is a little bit on the higher side. It worked great for me in designing jewelry and optimizing complex geometries. I highly recommend it. Pros Versatility, speed of operation, functionality, multitude of applications. Lighting works well in quickly calculating and optimizing large meshes, works great in jewelry design. Cons it is very extensive and therefore requires time to learn it well and use its full capabilities, but this is such a small disadvantage against the background of many advantages. Pros la capacidad de ayudarte a fomentar la creatividad con el modelado 3d y la animacion de este es bastente bueno , este programama yuda mas a lo que es la creacion de piezas organicas mas que mecanicas aunque se puede pero la belleza de este programa es hacer cosas organicas . Cons tien euna curva de aprendizaje bastante grande no es facil aprender a usar este programam en su totalidad , tiene bastante complejidad al usarlo y aprender lo pero cuando lo logras entender es bsatante bueno.
