Pros
I find Dispense easy to use and navigating the menu is easy and glitch free so far. The messaging feature is awesome to communicate with patients about their orders.
Some of the best things about Dispense, is the easy to use platform and its sleek and easy design.
We just had a seamless transition with Dispense from another company's software. Support was quick to respond and very helpful.
The flow of it all is seamless and very easy to see who has or hasn't been responded to without the screen looking like it's overflowing with customer chat.
Cons
The face that it's you don't put an order through with a new patient ALL information in their profile is lost. It's very very time consuming.
The check in queue is wonky. System briefly adds Confirmed orders so it gets confusing at times.
During COVID-19, it's more difficult to have a one-on-one conversation with new customers.
Most of our issues stem from our other software refusing to integrate fully.

"A Guide to Blayne's Buds"
Pros: The direct customer chat functionality. It allowed us to immediately reach out to a customer if there was a question or issue with their order. On top of that it allowed customers to directly send us faulty product issues. The flow of it all is seamless and very easy to see who has or hasn't been responded to without the screen looking like it's overflowing with customer chat.
Cons: Most of our issues stem from our other software refusing to integrate fully. My least favorite issue is when I'm adding employees to the organization; it doesn't always send them an invite to set their password and they have to go in and click 'forgot password'
"Not made for medical cannabis dispensary"
Overall: I'm glad we switched and I've been very satisfied with the speed at which our issues get resolved.
Pros: I find Dispense easy to use and navigating the menu is easy and glitch free so far. The messaging feature is awesome to communicate with patients about their orders. The categories are easy to navigate and the filters work well.
Cons: Dispense is geared toward recreational cannabis sales. As a medical only dispensary we find some of the features to be a hassle. At first, Dispense would alter patient profiles if the patient made an input error (for example, filling in their expiration date wrong would change the date in their profile automatically). This has been fixed, which we highly appreciated. Patients do not like that they can't make a profile and sign in each time they make an order. They now have to input all of their info (name, patient number, birthday, expiration date) each and every time and the info is not easily accessible for some people and they are frustrated by it. This has created an increase in people calling the store to make orders over the phone and that is quite difficult to manage at our specific store (we are very small, not as much staff).
"Dispense Review"
Overall: Although there are a few issues, I don't believe any other system could handle this much volume.
Pros: Integration was easy. Efficient system as far as not having any glitches.
Cons: The check in queue is wonky. System briefly adds Confirmed orders so it gets confusing at times.
"Needs improvement"
Overall: I feel like it can improve but there are some helpful aspects
Pros: The chat feature is helpful and a great way to see the history of information
Cons: The face that it's you don't put an order through with a new patient ALL information in their profile is lost. It's very very time consuming.
"Review from a Floor Supervisor in a Cannabis retail store"
Pros: I think the layout is simple and pretty intuitive. It is not hard to learn how to use it. I used to like the ability to edit all the information for the website on the backend of Dispense. It has now changed to Leaf Logix and I don't love that I have to toggle back and forth to set up a new product and see if it showed up.
Cons: Had some bugs that would pop up but it usually was fixed soon after.
"Todd at Ascend"
Pros: Ease of use. I’m it’s very comfortable to use
Cons: Not knowing what time to daily reset is sometimes the system is down temporarily
"Love the platform!"
Overall: 10/10
Pros: User friendly and makes shopping easy for client!
Cons: Confirmation email once order has been placed for receipt reasons
"Dispense for Retail "
Pros: The back end of the system is easy to navigate quickly. The website is clear. Orders are easy to read once printed. Easy to communicate with customers.
Cons: I wish we could change the titles of the icons, but i believe that was recently updated.
"New user"
Overall: The Dispense experience has been great so far. Easy to use and navigate.
Pros: We just had a seamless transition with Dispense from another company's software. Support was quick to respond and very helpful.
Cons: I would like to see price tier options in the future.
"Dispense Review "
Overall: It has been fairly neutral, its very easy to navigate for my age range but also doesn't have the full range of motion that I think dispense should.
Pros: Some of the best things about Dispense, is the easy to use platform and its sleek and easy design.
Cons: Many of the features are very standard and don't offer a lot of options for businesses trying to have a variety of filters and options. The dispense call center team often helpful in various scenarios for our location.
"Dispense Has Streamlined Dispensary Operations"
Overall: During COVID-19, it's more difficult to have a one-on-one conversation with new customers. Providing a streamlined preorder process has allowed us to welcome and inform customers from the moment they load the menu.
Pros: There are so many features to help customers select products, like categories, search, and AI-driven product suggestions.
Cons: Managing labels (in our case, cultivators and brands) while accepting deliveries has been an issue. Make sure your team has a plan for how to label products to keep selection consistent between locations.
"Great Support"
Overall: Good
Pros: How quickly we are supported by [SENSITIVE CONTENT]. He calls back right away.
Cons: Glitchy at times pulling batch information over.
"Simple and Easy"
Overall: 100% Amazing.
Pros: Learning Tablelist has been a breeze. It tracks orders and any questions that have arisen have been quickly resolved.
Cons: I would like the App to be the same as the desktop version. Seems there are many other offerings that may not be relavant to my industry - I am sure they are working on it.
"Dispense for Retail"
Pros: I like how easy it is to set up pick up orders and editing the menu
Cons: I think as it grows the system will become smoother
"It needs to be one system in one place"
Overall: It was alright. It needs to be a little more streamined and could benefit from having everything in one place instead of 5.
Pros: Aesthetic was very clean. Doesn't require much thought. Pretty easy to navigate.
Cons: Too many pages. It's also difficult to do a simple task since each change affects numerous areas.
"Easy to use and navigate "
Pros: See title, it’s easy to use and navigate
Cons: Can’t think of any . The whole system has been easy to use and understand
"Extremely easy to navigate "
Pros: Really easy to learn, customizable to our dispensaries needs and easy to integrate with our other programs!
Cons: Nothing yet! The software is working great.
