Realtor Associate Real Estate Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Excellent features, uptime and support" March 10, 2023 5.0 I've been using IDX Broker since 2012 to provide my website with data from two Multiple Listing Services. To those who question whether serving IDX pages on a subdomain is bad for your site I would say this: First, if the IDX pages are styled correctly, the user experience and user interface are indistinguishable from those on any other page. Second, the impact on SEO is non-existent. A good number of my IDX pages were in the top ten of Google's search engine results pages, and having thousands of indexed pages thanks to the IDX Broker (hidden) subdomain certainly didn't hurt. I would add this note to real estate agents: If you enjoy working with CSS, you'll love the possibilities IDX Broker offers. If you don't, line yourself up with an IDX Broker-recommended developer and let them do the heavy lifting. Pros Offering MLS information to visitors is at the very heart of my website. IDX Broker fills this need seamlessly, from the quality of their IDX feed and customer support to providing an ability to customize and match the look and feel of IDX pages flawlessly with the rest of my site. Cons IDX Broker's product and service are excellent. My one plea to them is this: if you allow us users to modify the display of IDX data in a manner that best serves our site visitors, please inform us when you or your MLS customers change field names or other code, as this impacts us immediately without our knowledge. February 10, 2022 5.0 Support is responsive, the software is pretty easy to figure out, overall I am glad I made the change and very happy about the overhead it has saved me. Pros Overall the whole system is very useful, the agent IDX websites are a real "perk" for my agents. The Transaction Document collection system also is a big aid to my agents and makes the process very smooth and error-free. Cons The overall appearance of the admin area looks a bit dated, but to be fair there is a LOT of features and a great job has been done in organizing them. " January 22, 2026 2.0 I have been using this system for about 1 year. I am a 30 year top producer and this is by far the worst system I have ever used. I actually kept LOFTY and connection to the MLS as a back up. Pros It provides listings to my clients. Instead of sending clients to Zillow, you send them to my web siter to search homes — keeping the relationship, the data, and the brand in my hands. Cons Powerful IDX, but clunky, technical, and frustrating; without strong customization needs, it needs dev help now. It also allows new clients to create accounts where we can control the amount of people calling them, unlike other "leads" from non-self generated locations. Pros I like how simple it is to get going with IDX Broker. We had a great website without IDX search and adding it was simple and has made a big impact to the look, feel, and function of our website. Cons I struggle with some of the features, they aren't self explanatory and I haven't taken the time to research it out. It seems there is documentation and tutorials out there, but I haven't searched it out. Reason for choosing IDX Broker Ballen Brands uses IDX Broker and I appreciate their YouTube content directed at real estate agents. Review Source DS Dean S. April 26, 2025 1.0 This is a horrible company! Just don't sign up with them, please! Their IDX plugin sucks, it stops working all the time, the customer support is nonexistent, and they take your money and don't refund it even if you cancel on time. No response from support on critical issues. They know it is time-consuming and expensive to switch providers for an established website and don't even respond to complaints. Pros They were a good IDX solution before being purchased by Elm Street Cons They keep changing my custom settings for searches without my knowledge or authorization, forcing me to spend valuable time repairing the damage. It's a service that is not made to help its final client (Brokers, real estate agents / marketing agencies that work with these people), but for web developers who want to earn commissions by working with IDX Broker.Let me explain: it seems that their only way of surviving in the market is through an affiliate network with web developers: "if you build your clients website with IDX Broker we pay you a monthly commission".The result? After your site is ready IDX Broker ignores you. Their customer service is non existent (send an email and hope for the best). The only way to resolve any minor detail should be through the person you initially hired for the web development of the page.Do you want to add an IDX Broker feature on your website (...that you are paying monthly for)? You can't. The only person with those permissions is the developer allied to IDX Broker, even though you are the Broker paying for it. So you will have to pay the developer again for any little detail, adjustment or question you have about it.All this makes it clear to me that IDX Broker doesn't care about its clients, only its affiliates. Pros IDX Broker acts as provider that let you insert IDX listings on your Wordpress site. Cons Where to begin? IDX Broker feels like a ghost company. From my experience it seems like somebody created the product, designed the website, created the memberships and and hasn't paid the least bit of attention to his business since then.- Outdated website- Very difficult to use to an average Wordpress user- You can't customize fonts or colors to match your brand, so any website using IDX Broker will look the same- Their integration with Zapier suddenly stopped working. When I talked to someone at Zapier they explained that it is an IDX Broker issue, probably because IDX Broker haven't worked on updating their part.- Terrible customer service (It's been more than a week and after 5 emails I haven't been able to get a "Hello" from anybody)- All of this on a premium monthly feeIDX Broker does not show any signs of growth, updates or future plans. IDX Broker used to be a great product. I now caution anyone considering it to try something else. Pros It's a great platform when it works. Unfortunately, the past few moths I've been having issues with little help from the almost non-existent customer service. Cons Their customer service is very difficult (sometimes impossible) to reach. Even after reaching them, I can only speak with Tier 1 support and they are clueless. The developers will occasionally email me that they are aware of the issue and are working on it. This has been on-going for over 4 months now. Review Source AL Alex L. I’ll be filing a chargeback. I just wanted to warn others to view recent reviews before handing over your credit card information, as they’re billing is the ONLY thing that does work. Pros They charged my card quickly and sent me a confirmation of the charge. Cons After paying, I could never get a hold of someone again. According to their own literature, they are supposed to setup your initial wrappers to make the IDX feed match the appearance of your website. However, I sent numerous emails over 3 weeks with absolutely no response. I began doing some research, and apparently hundreds of other users have the same issue after the company was sold last year. Pros The Price / value is incredible, it does what would cost thousands of dollars to replicate with other products. February 24, 2023 5.0 Pros I love that each time a lead signs up to receive listings in their area, I am notified immediately via email. Cons I wish it was cheaper. Right now I am capturing no leads and it's because I haven't shared the link enough, so it would be nice if it was cheaper since I haven't had leads.
