Redfin Reviews
Pros
Overall, easy to use and it is useful. I have used it in at least ten different states in both urban and rural areas with great success.
I love how simple it is to see all the different homes that are for sale in an area. You can get so much information in so little time.
With changing and tech savvy world. It has lot of amazing features to stand out as compare to competitors.
Cons
Because there are so many realtors working for the company, it is difficult to get in contact with the same person each time.
This app glitches a lot so it is hard to look through and be on for a longer research/usage.
I don't like the pop-up menu for some of the listings.
"Redfin is amazing"
Pros: The ease of browsing listings not only personally but for my professional life
Cons: Sometimes there's not always photos offered in the listings if the sale has been off the market for 10+ years
"Ideal For First Time Home Buyers"
Pros: Redfin is very prompt in sending email of listings on what is the best fit of homes for sale that is according to your finance. Also when you click on the satellite map, it shows at once the prices of the homes for sale. First time homebuyers will benefit from Redfin with ease.
Cons: There is nothing that I don't like about Redfin.
"Good backup app"
Pros: You can find more listing here compare to similar apps like Zillow
Cons: It lacks some essential features like date of moving which makes you to go through all the listings
"Awesome home buying/sellers app"
Pros: This software is extremely user friendly. Does not require much of a learning curve as it is very straight forward and functions flawlessly. Very informative with as much information about the property as you would need. Realtors are constantly updating descriptions when they visit the homes. Data is updated very often which is very convenient so you know which properties are available in real time. You can save various searches and get real time updates on changes made to your selections. You can adjust notifications as you see fit depending on where you are in the home search process. The open house feature is convenient as it allows you to see a list of open houses and times in the areas you are searching.
Cons: Because there are so many realtors working for the company, it is difficult to get in contact with the same person each time. I wish there was a way to customize settings that would allow you to personalize your experience more. Some changes to settings drastically limit the homes you can see when you are searching. Would love for there to be a rental option in case someone is deciding between purchase and rentals.
"Housing Data at Your Fingertips"
Overall: Overall, easy to use and it is useful. I have used it in at least ten different states in both urban and rural areas with great success.
Pros: I think smart phones were developed with apps like Redfin in mind. Fast, accurate data about housing no matter where you are. I like that I can be in any city and figure out housing costs and ages of neighborhoods in a flash.
Cons: I don't think there are any cons with Redfin. It is easy to use and gives me the data I want.
