I enjoy the rental listing for leads. And, searching for homes and using their tools. Pros I like being able to see estimated values for properties and being able to put my property for rent on Redin. Cons I didn't like an experience I had with a real estate agent on Redfin. The agent deeply undervalued my property. And when I didn't agree the agent had an attitude as if I was incorrect. However, I have previously been an agent so I knew the property's worth. I know Redfin cuts down the percentage, but I didnt want to cut down the value of the home. I had it appraised and the appraisal matched my estimation, not the agents. The agent appeared to want a quick sale through devaluation. And when I asked for a new agent it was almost impossible to get them to switch. In fact, they never did switch the agent. So I would not use their agent format. However, I would def still use their rental listing, and home search. Switched from [Zillow Rental Manager](https://www.capterra.com/p/209701/Zillow-Rental-Manager/) The rental manager on Zillow froze me out. So I needed another platform. Cons None at all, I love what they did with everything. It’s so fast and have no loading issues at all! Keep it up Redfin! I have used it in at least ten different states in both urban and rural areas with great success. Pros I think smart phones were developed with apps like Redfin in mind. Fast, accurate data about housing no matter where you are. I like that I can be in any city and figure out housing costs and ages of neighborhoods in a flash. Cons I don't think there are any cons with Redfin. It is easy to use and gives me the data I want. Pros Came out later than Zillow but turned out a bit better. Interface easy to navigate/track with visual image / earth shot, useful information provided, resourceful listing for both first time buyer or for investment Cons Minor glitches like recommended properties do not show up, probably already off listing but not updated. Especially in a Very HOT housing market its Super important to have the latest and most up to date info for home searches to beat out the competition. It also sends suggestions for house similar to resent searches automatically as well as updates when home prices change or become sold . Cons The only con I can think of is that Redfin send a little too many emails about similar properties to houses viewed. Seems like if I open 1 email , then with in a few minutes I get 3 more emails with multiple listings in each.
