I wish there were a few more options, but Free is Free! Pros We have been using Google Voice as our business number for 15+ years. It does a great job in transferring calls to our cell phones and other numbers of our choice. Cons I wish that it had a few more features, but it's hard to argue with free. It's upside is that it works consistently. Pros the things that i liked would definitely include the voicemail transcription. call screening is also very helpful and essential. the tools is very easy to use with a very simple interface and also supportive on multiple devices. Cons the layout can be evn more improvised to look more appealing. more organized form need to be released and also the no of tools and options regarding call screening also need to be increased and according to different needs. I especially like how my voicemails can be changed to transcripts so I can read them at a time when I am unable to listen to the voicemail. Cons I have had issues with connectivity, but am unsure if that is an issue with Google Voice or Google Fi (I am still trying to differentiate between the two). Voice allows a better way to control incoming calls versus my phone carrier. Cons The setup isn't the most easily understood process. We had administrators, office staff, guidance counselors, and teachers using Google Voice to continue to reach out and connect with families and students who were learning from home. Pros As an Instructional Technologist, I am always looking for tools that will support my K-12 teachers. Many of my secondary teachers use Google Voice as a way to text and call students and parents. They have had better communication and an increase in responses by using Google Voice instead of using email. Cons Last year Google Voice starting charging the districts per user when signing up with their district email. Our district will not pay for this feature so teachers are having to use their personal email accounts. Review Source Tung T. When receiving calls, it will display that it is a google voice call so that I can differentiate if it is business or personal. The software is easy to use and it does the job perfectly. Pros The software was easy to use and has great pricing options to call and text. One of the coolest feature that I enjoy is the legal recording playback to inform the caller that the call will be recorded. Pros I like that it is free. I use it for work related tasks where I need a number local to the region I am in. Cons The app for this software is not the best. I much prefer the desktop experience to the app experience. Google Voice has a the best voice and texting you can get with an anonymous number for free. Most of the other apps require you pay a small fee just to send text messages from a burner number, but Google Voice lets you do that without needing to pay. I can also text on my computer without needing to ever touch my phone. It also provides voicemail transcripts if you're ever in a place where you can't listen to the message (i.e. on public transportation, in a meeting, etc). Cons I think Google Voice requires for you to have an actual number to connect to it, which is the annoying part. I wish I could just get a burner number without going through all that hassle.
