I like that google voice also sends me copies of calls via e-mail to my inbox so I can choose to read and respond rather than always take a call. We are able to use Google Voice to communicate through text to our many different groups without having to bind up our cell phones! Great organization and management function also! Cons There is absolutely nothing to say negative about Google Voice. After using Google Voice for over a year and a half, we have been highly satisficed. Had to get a new EW number after 5 years using the same. I give the number to narcissist whom I want to ignore. Ha ha! And the best part is it's absolutely FREE!! So if you haven't used it yet, I will suggest give it a try now. Cons I love it because all my text, call or voice mail store online so I don't need to worry at all if I change the number. The program is very user friendly and I’ve had no issues with it. Pros I love that I was able to have another phone number other than my personal number that still connects to my cell phone. Super helpful tool for a sole business owner. Cons In order for the transactions with the number to be Hipaa compliant, I needed to purchase Google workspace. However that was totally okay to me! Cons The app did an update recently without notifying me and during that time, my contacts were unable to access my number. It would have been helpful to get an email before warning me. Pros When my cellular plan was expired, i could not make any phone calls and thus i heard from a friend that Google voice would be a good alternative and it really is. I can get a phone number for free and call my mother and talk to her without even paying. Cons I feel like all Google products are greatly refined and super amazing. With google voice, it has become less stressful for me, i am able to capture words while meeting recording is ongoing and i only have to worry about listening during the meeting and proof reading. This has really helped me with saving myself a lot of time spent on mundane task. I get to save stuffs in my google keep in a more smarter way, i can capture my thoughts quickly and have it saved as a Voice note as well as text. Pros Ability to integrate with a real phone number and redirect calls to that number. It has a slew of features to do things such as manage spam and provide voicemail as emails via a voice to message service. Cons Restricted to the USA rather than being supported internationally. Limited SMS capability as it can receive but cannot send to international numbers.
