I love commonsku. The support we get from both the staff and the community is amazing. Plus, the technlology itself is great and they keep adding new features.

Pros

I love the ease of flow from presentation, to production, to billing. It creates a very seamless, visually-appealing, and user-friendly experienced for the client. Commonsku is also very intuitive and easy to use from an employee-standpoint

Cons

Some of the financial reports aren't as robust as I'd like them to be. Specifically, there doesn't seem to be an easy way to track overall profit per project.

I use this all day every day - so easy to use, across differnt area's. from saels tools to shops. love it.

Pros

So easy to use - all records, note are in jobs, looking up repeats - all the deatils are there so done.

Cons

The only thing I can think of is updating PO's once bills are in the job - annoying we can't do that.

Overall, my experience with Commonsku has been very positive. It helps me stay on track with daily work, and the dashboard is a game-changer for quickly seeing what I need to do for the day and what’s already in progress. It also helps me keep track of important details like reorders and daily tasks, which saves time and keeps things running smoothly. The platform is pretty easy to use once you get used to it. Customer support is also really good and always helpful when I need assistance. Overall, it’s a simple and efficient tool that makes my work a lot easier.

Pros

In Commonsku, you can keep everything organized in one place, which honestly makes things way less stressful day to day. It’s a lot easier to manage projects, orders, clients, and supplier information without having to jump between different systems or spreadsheets. I also like how it helps you keep track of the small but important details, like potential reorders and other reminders that you might forget otherwise. Another thing I really appreciate is their customer support. They’re actually very helpful and respond quickly when you need help, which makes a big difference when you’re stuck or trying to fix something fast.

Cons

So far, what I like least about Commonsku is when I try to add a run charge to a presentation. Since the charge isn’t high, it doesn’t always let you apply it properly per quantity, which gets a bit annoying when you’re trying to keep everything accurate. Also, if you accidentally click “tax exempt,” it becomes really difficult to go back and add taxes later to the project. It feels like once you make that mistake, fixing it takes way more steps than it should.

The software is great, and I really don't know how to work without it at this point in my career. Connected suppliers, a lifeline to ASI, and the ability to connect Zapier to make the experience a little more custom are necessary. Arguably, the community that Commonsku has built of their members is equally as valuable. This is a complex industry, and having other peers willing to offer advice simply for being part of the Commonsku family speaks volumes about their reputation. This shows up best in the forums, where they have provided a great space to ask and receive help from others.

Pros

I have been a Commonsku user for nearly a decade. The promotional product industry is one of the most complicated, high touch-point sales process, with multi-step supply chain logistics. Commonsku tools allow us to move quickly for quoting and keep our customers involved throughout the order process. The addition of supplier relationships and negotiated pricing has been extremely beneficial for our overall margins. They are constantly improving the tech to stay on the cutting edge of how the industry is advancing.

Cons

A few of the visual tools, like building custom products, creating mockups, and moving items around within a grid, are still very clunky and function okay, but could see improvement.

In my 5 years using commonsku, it has proven to be great tool and a true time-saver. With vendor products at the ready and the ability to sync records with quickbooks, I'm not sure there is a better option out there. Plus, their brand and staff are very fun.

Pros

Adding product directly instead of manually using commonsku's integrations with SAGE is incredibly valuable and time saving.

Cons

I do wish commonsku had a better way to map with GL's in Quickbooks and canot wait for the vendor credits addition to be live and working. Customer credit balances' would also be valuable.

Great team to work with and has tremendously helped streamline our order processes for both suppliers and clients!

Pros

Great customer service, quick to respond. Great integration into the promo product database and ease of use for my team to handle orders and reorders. Very easy platform to use for all distributors, small or large.

Cons

Needs some better accounting integration, but does export to QuickBooks just fine. Working to add more connected suppliers but the main ones are integrated in like S&S and Sanmar.

You truly feel like part of their 'skummunity' when using this platform - it's not just limited to your own team.

Pros

The onboarding with commonsku was thorough and comprehensive, and that assistance didn't stop once we joined. commonsku has made us feel like valued members of their platform, is quick to respond to customer service inquiries, and makes it easy to suggest new features.

Cons

Impossible to do anything on mobile currently which really hampers my productivity, especially when working remotely or on the go. And I wish there was an option to have a 'light' or even 'read only' membership option within our team. We'd love to have more visibility, but the user cost is so high.

As per my usage, it's 5 star for me. One-stop information spot for all project information. Easy to work with overall. I'd highly recommend using commonsku as a part of company's business culture.

Pros

User-friendly interface to create Sales orders, Presentations and generating invoices. Daily active project reports is all in one place and reduces error of missing an active project updates. Also like the feature where I can mark it as a "Problem". The project overview us really helpful to post quick updates that stays there for the project lifecycle and easily accessible.

Cons

Purchase orders are a little tricky to me where i have to constantly look for the best way to enter the information. I don't create POs frequently and that could be the reason but it is a bit time-consuming. When reviewing the monthly sales target reports for the projects - the list shows all active projects and fail to identify the deposit invoices.

Overall, I've had a great experience with commonsku. It's organized, easy to navigate, and has made it much easier to manage clients and projects. I'm still learning some of its more advanced features, but it's been a valuable tool for my daily work.

Pros

What I like most about commonsku is how organized it keeps everything. It's easy to find client information, track the different projects I'm working on, and keep everything in one place. The organization makes it much easier to manage my workload and stay on top of client needs.

Cons

I haven't experienced any major downsides. The biggest challenge has simply been learning all of the platform's capabilities and figuring out how to tailor it to my workflow.

Overall CommonSKU is our essential one stop for truth when it comes to client acquisition/retention, ordering, operations and billing. My advice to anyone looking to use this tool is to use it with purpose. Keep client notes and use it daily and share them with your team. It's my accountability partner.

Pros

First off, I would like to say that I have been a CommonSKU user for 6+ years. I find it to be a great tool for collaboration for all aspects of our team. I am in sales and business development. My operations team can go into any order and see where we are in at in the sales cycle. CommonSKU also plays a large part of keeping my notes and orders all in one place and leverage it daily for follow ups and prospecting new clients and orders for existing clients.

Cons

We are a member of Promo EQP. I would like to see a filter for buying group memberships integrated into the search. I currently use Sage for my product searches, because the functionality is baked into the system. I would like to see that option in CommonSKU.

i like the ability to hide the total cost on estimates, it makes it easy to compare products. the project and client files are very helpful as well.

Cons

i wish you could go backwards from sales order to estimate, estimate to presentation within the same project!

I've been a user for about four months now and am really amazed at how great the product is for my needs. I've been able to become a lot more efficient overall and am learning new ways of running my business to get time back and to get more customers. I've been able to win orders due to efficiencies in the platform compared to competitors. Overall has been a great experience and is a great product.

Pros

I love how CommonSku integrates so many things into the platform and make the whole ordering process easy. There are so many different moving pieces in our industry and CommonSku takes different parts and puts in together in a clear, concise, and easy way to manage orders. I am able to save so much time with creating presentations and making orders within the platform compared to what I was having to do before. CommonSku also seems to be constantly updating and adding features and is changing with the industry. The support and help has been great as well. If there are issues with anything people are willing to help, and help quickly too.

Cons

Some things and features are "set". It'd be great to make and tailor somethings on more of a customized level, but it's small nuances that I can get around.

I love cSKU. It really comes alongside of me in my work and allows me to see exactly where projects stand.

Pros

I absolutely enjoy using cSKU in tandem with my work in the industry. The interface is very easy to use, the reporting is robust, and it's easy to look at, and the support cSKU gives is top notch.

Cons

There are some things that I wish were more customizable to the way our business operates with certain processes, but overall, it's a great system.

Pros

Ease of use- I love how Csku feels compared to our previous system. Feels like the "iphone of systems".

Cons

a Con about CKSU is that you have to stay update on the changes. They are always updating/improving different areas. Do not stay complacent with CSKU.
