They have the world by the tail and could not care less about their users and any issues they experience while using their software. I have spent way too much time trying to figure out how to get back into my accounts only to discover they were deleted without any notification or reason. Now I was given info about another app "Vero" from other Instagram users that have switched over and I think these folks are the read deal. Pros Connection with other photographers, gaining ideas to better promote my business, gaining knowledge of locations for photography, equipment, updates, etc. Cons Zero help from the developers, Deleted 2 accounts without giving a reason. The filters make it easy to improve the pictures. The Instagram live feature makes it easy to do livecasts. It has many features similar to Snapchat but still easier to use. I love the disappearing photos feature in the chat and how we can integrate it with FB messenger if we want. Instagram has come a long way especially how we can restrict our stories for those we don't want them to see and even restrict comments. Cons Instagram can restrict certain posts and they are less ambiguous about it. Sometimes they can restrict your account if they feel you are promoting your business and don't have a business account. You need to buy ads to be able to get some visibility and that can be a pain. It even helps that Meta owns it in my opinion. Pros I like to follow celebrities and various YouTubers on Instagram. I also like their posts and I keep in touch with them most of the time. The app is also useful for me at certain times and I can also use the dark theme whenever I need to use it. I also enjoy looking at certain people's stories. This is a really good social media app for me to use. Although it's not my favourite social media app, because my favourite social media app of all time is still YouTube. Not to mention I also like to block users if they try to scam me or cause drama to me. Cons I don't get to use the dark theme on my PC.
