Except for the frustration to sign on every time, my experience is not that bad. Pros It gives a chance different kind od work that are manageable to do it in my own free time, it's website is well organized and could be accessed well. It has a social community that you can use to interact with other appen users and you're able to complete your own invoices for work done. Cons As a new user I had no idea of how to get paid for work that was done as I was not assigned to any teams or managers to guide me through using this software efficiently. The rest take much of my time that I felt was wasted. In the end, after I thought I got the job because I received an email from them, I still can't get through with it. Overall experience was very frustating. Pros I like that it is easy to download, register and login. Cons The problem is that once you are on the app/website there are buttons where it says "Work This", but when you clicked on it you'll receive an error. Straight to my Payoneer, no delays. As a freelancer, there are many data entry jobs on Appen to choose from no matter where you come from. The platform makes it easy to upload my audios, images and videos tasks. Cons Sometimes, it takes forever for an applicant (contractor) to get a feedback from Appen regarding an application status! Pros I connect at least once a month on Appen as a contractor and user. I have already performed data entry tasks, recording and uploading documents. The website work fine. Cons I had some trouble with the mobile app, I had to make two requests for support. Also, it is not clear how I can perform tasks being in Brazil and French as my main language. It should be easier to move from one country to another as your location can change during the year.
