If configured correctly Liqui base performs excellently for CI/CD and version control. Use it with other repo applications like github. I utilize it with Jenkins, and it greatly assisted us in creating a pipeline that we can rely on to deliver. Pros It serves as a DB Automation solution that allows us to promote DB updates . In the CI-CD workflow for DB updates, this product is helpful. The best thing is :- 1. Compare script reports 2. Error handling but can be improved 3. Script build and deployment Cons Error handling is not good. the root cause of error identify that is to much difficult so need improvement. 1. HTML reports can be optimized for low space 2. Now we are able to manage per developer database, productions database, testing database and all these database as managing through our ci/cd pipeline. Pros Liquibase basically help our organization to maintaining the database versioning and also helps to deploy the database at various staging server with different different version. And also because of liquibase now we can deploy or create our database with default data and schema by our ci/cd pipeline. Cons Managing default data in it is very difficult. Comparing db is very difficult when it come to data. Managing store procedure is also very difficult task. In Postgres we are facing few issues also. One of the bug is resolved by me in liquibase.
