We use the product for our local hospital and several off site locations, for all of our printer setup needs. With using Vasion print, we are able to setup floor map to assign where each printer is, so the end user has an easy time installing the printer they need.

Pros

Its super easy to use and a wonderful product. I would recommend this to anyone. The GUI and printer installation makes it easy for the end user to install printers without the contact to our IT teams. Setting new printer or area is a simple task, that any user without a tech background could do.

Cons

Driver management, it would be nice for them to have a local listening of all drivers and able to apply the new ones or even check to see if a driver update is needed.

I find it very easy to use myself and I am able to clearly explain to customers how to use it, even if they aren't tech savvy. It is so user-friendly, so it is not an issue for anyone to navigate it.

Pros

Very user friendly! Super easy to navigate, I love it!

Cons

Sometimes the application would get corrupted and would need to be downloaded again and enable the extension. However, it's an easy fix.

Pros

How easy it is to learn. Before my current role I worked on the clinical side with little IT experience. I have been able to learn and it has been a lifesaver.

Cons

I cant think of anything. I have been enjoying Vasion for years now.

on occasion it does go offline and that is an issue with any major systems but they are rectified quickly.

Vasion has improved all areas of printer administration, and we would do it all again. We have not encountered a technical difficulty with Vasion or print admin that PrinterLogic hasn't been able to address.

Pros

Vasion staff has worked with us to resolve some minor issues and granted flexibility where needed. Support has made Vasion even more valuable to us. My earlier review stressed ease of implementation and the UI, those are still excellent factors.

Cons

Per-printer cost remains my least favorite part. I incur the expenses, so cost is always a pain point with me.

My overall experience with PrinterLogic has been very positive. The simple user interface and clean web portal make it extremely easy to manage printers. The integration with Active Directory and the ability to remotely push printer installations have streamlined our processes significantly. Adding printers for users, whether locally or remotely, has become incredibly efficient. While a bit more customization in advanced features would be helpful, PrinterLogic has overall been a reliable and effective solution.

Pros

What I liked most about PrinterLogic is its simple and clean user interface, easy-to-use web portal, seamless integration with Active Directory, and the ability to customize drivers and remotely push printer installations. It makes it incredibly easy to add printers for users both locally and remotely.

Cons

What I liked least about PrinterLogic is that there isn’t much to improve, but occasionally, more advanced features could benefit from additional customization options or more granular control. However, overall, the system is quite efficient.

The overall experience has been great! It's simplified printer management and deployment, and made installation for users very easy and intuitive. Support has been excellent from the start.

Pros

We just started rolling out the system to our users, but from an IT view this is SO much easier, cleaner and faster than trying to get printers and drivers out to staff using our MDM solution. I don't have to build a separate package for each printer and upload it to the MDM, then push it out. I only have to upload/configure the driver(s) once per printer type and not for each individual printer. So, when adding a new printer, I can just select the driver that I've already uploaded from a drop down menu and apply it. Bonus that I only have to update that driver in one location too (admin panel), and it distributes to all the clients. Another great feature is the ability to hide printers that are at other locations based on the user's IP address. They can travel to different locations and only see/install printers at that location. It's also nice that the users can only install the printers they are going to use and not have to sort through a list of printers that have been automatically installed that they will never use. It also helps that I can upload a map of the building and drop the printers onto the map so the users can see exactly where a certain printer is and install it right from the map. The printer icons can show whether it is a color or black and white which helps users as well. The reporting function is quite detailed and is allowing us to "cut" out a separate system for logging print usage. We also setup email alerts for things like low toner and paper jams which is nice, but there is a but...see the "dislike for a short explanation (TLDR: too many emails) The instructions are easy to follow for setting things up though like Azure/Entra. I'd never linked an Enterprise application before and the documentation made it very easy to do so that I could provision users. We're getting ready to decommission our print servers that give us headaches from time to time. Vaison assisted us with the initial setup and offered excellent support during the trial phase. Post trial support has been quick to respond as well.

Cons

he biggest challenge that I am having is remembering where to go in order to configure certain things. We deployed the client through our MDM, but there is still a little interaction needed by the user to complete setup, which can be difficult for some users. The only other issue I have is that after setting the alerts for toner, I got too many emails, even after setting it to the maximum time. There may be a setting to change that to notify once and be done, but I have not found that yet.

Pros

Very easy to set up and deploy. The Vasion team guided us through deployment every step up of the way. PrinterLogic has replaced our physical printing servers and manual installation process saving us money and time. Now we can focus on projects that really matter!

There isn't much that I dislike about PrinterLogic.

Cons

I would say it can be a little pricey for smaller organizations is the main thing. There's a bit of a learning curve for anyone not already familiar with advanced print management tools. Also it's cloud based and dependent on internet connectivity. Issues have arisen for me in RARE instances only in my experience though.
