Very positive, and work as it is intended.

Pros

1) Allow our employees the ease of adding and removing printers. 2) Support multi-site location. 3) Remove the need of a dedicated print server.

Cons

1) Have to manually assist employees in the first setup. 2) Doesn't show what causes the error when you can't print.

### "Printer Server Nightmare Fix"

Overall a great product and have had no issues once it was correctly implemented in the environment.

Pros

Fixes all the issues of having a current day print server dealing with Microsoft's terrible updates breaking your entire printer server.

Cons

The price could be better but other than that you get what you pay for.

Its ease of use for our users. Security features to allow certain users to see certain printers.

Cons

the issues with finding the right drivers to upload as they need a very specific type and sometimes I am between a rock and a hard place between the manufacterer and printer logic to find the right one or I cant use my printer.

Overall, I have enjoyed PL, it has given us the ability to manage 100's of printers across sites

Pros

PL gives you the ability to remotely support and deploy multiple devices across number locations

Cons

Pushing out initial installer was a little cumbersome

The Drivers for all of our devices are uniform and unchanging. I love that any change impacts all of our devices.

Cons

I can't say that I have any negatives or challenges now, as I honestly have not encountered any difficulties outside of everyday use.

### "Streamlined Printer Management Without a Dedicated Print Server"

PrinterLogic has been key in removing the need for multiple Windows Print Servers to administrate printers at multiple locations. Also allowing users to manage their own printers without administrator access required has cut down on Help Desk labor.

Pros

Ease of use. After deployment and configuration, we've been able to give basic instructions to users and they've been successful in installing their own printers. This is a very helpful change and it relieves our Help Desk staff from having to take care of these.

Cons

Almost nothing, to be honest. We do miss some of the advanced configuration on some printers, which is sometimes required given our work as a law firm.

### "A wonderful printer management solution! "

Pros

It very easy for our users to setup. We can deploy the icon to their computer, they open it up in a browser, install an extension and have access to all of our shared printers in one place. The process to get shared printers setup and visible to users is very straightforward and the interface is easy to navigate.

Cons

There isn't anything I feel is lacking with the software.

### "Print Nightmare no more"

We use PrinterLogic to avoid the printer nightmare vulnerability tied to the print spoolers and print servers. With PrinterLogic we are able to have our end users point to a printer on the map and have it install seamlessly. Even though its a change for our users, it makes it easier as well as gives us safety knowing we are protected. We didn't want to give local admin on each printer server to our users to avoid the printer nightmare vulnerability so PrinterLogic gives us the ability to allow users to add printers and not have extra permissions. This also fixes the common issue of "Where does this printer live?"...with PrinterLogic people can see on the map the printers near them

Pros

Just the overall ease of adding a printer and managing them. Allowing us to get rid of print servers.

Cons

None at the moment. Using the product less than 6 months, so still working out things.

Easy to deploy and for end users to utilize. Adding printers is quick and takes very few steps. Our users are able to easily install printers on their machines without the need for admin credentials or IP address.

Very easy to implement and manage. Just read up on profiles before implementing.
