Pros The software is user-friendly with easy navigation to the main features from the main page. The message tab is very clean and easy to work with for finding new tutors and read historic chat logs. The best thing with Snapmentor was the main feature of short waiting time for getting in contact with a tutor who personally gave me hints and advice on solving my current tasks in mathematics. Cons For the main purpose of being a channel for getting in contact with a tutor, snapmentor is not lacking in any features, but I would like for it to further implement integration with Google drive so I can easly save my chats in my drive and upload files into the chat from inside the chat log. Student Accounting Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Snapmentor - helps you study" November 11, 2020 5.0 An important tool, at least today, when students are forced to stay at home during the pandemic. Being able to receive help with just a click on the phone is unbelivable important, and snapmentor is able to do just this. Pros The easy outlook of the app. I was among it first users, and already from the beginning the different aspects of the app were easy to understand. Further, the main idea of the software is genius. There is a lot of students, in all levels, having issues understanding different topics. This software, and the way it is created, is truly helpful. Being one of the first tutors for snapmentor as well, I saw the value it had for students in all levels. It was very easy to use as a tutor, with logical features creating a professional tutoring tool. Cons As I was one of its first users there was some issues with the overview of responses as a tutor. But, given the snapmentor teams rapid changes, all issues I once had, are fixed. Review Source LG Lyndsey G. However, there are similar platforms that are more user friendly. Pros Curipod can save time and allows for student engagement. Teachers can choose the topic they want Curipod (with the help of AI) to create lessons on or they can use their own slides. Cons It takes a while to fully understand Curipod for both teachers and students. There definitely is a learning curve, and teachers have to invest time into getting the whole concept in order for students to fully grasp the material on their end. It is professional and handy, and makes my being a student much easier, as they provide intelligent digital solutions for knowledge assitance. It has been and is an excellent tool and a weekly resource for me, as they never fail to provide me with the help I require. As I said, the app is easy to use, and you get quick and useful help to solve the problems you are stuck with. I really recommend this program to others! Pros Snapmentor is easy to learn and easy to use. You just take a picture of your problem and send it to a mentor who helps you to solve your task. The mentors are responding quickly, and it is just what you need when you are struggeling with solving a task! They offer mentors within different subjects, and you can also look at articles or files which the mentors have published. Cons At first I thought I could send my mentor a pdf that contained my problem, but it turned out that I had to take a picture. Exactly this was a bit misleadingly described. Otherwise, I hope they will get mentors in even more subjects. Review Source SO Simen O. The software bridges the gap between what basic learning platform the school already uses and my need for a more personal education. Cons Personally, I would prefer to have the opportunity to do some of my schoolwork on the fly from my mobile device. I got the help i needed, and it made my day as a student a bit easier! Easy to use and good communication with the mentors!! Would definitely recommend to other students:) Pros I love how easy it is to get access to get help if needed. The "app" is easy to use, and works great to show what my problem is.
