This was very helpfull and they did the job within time and budget. Data Migration Specialist Computer Software Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "Best data migration platform in terms of ease of deployment" November 24, 2020 5.0 My experience with Xillio is quite positive, especially connectors are very helpful in data migration process. Overall works perfectly for me however still expensive. Pros For me the best feature of Xillio is the variety of the repository connectors which are compatible with the cloud applications and support read and write functions. These connectors dramatically increase the value proposition of Xillio to an unmatched level and makes it vital especially for our migration processes to cloud applications by reducing the content migration process to a straightforward level. Cons That would be smarter if we could have a demo of the system without need of providing contact information and although Xillio provides a great experience in terms of functionality it is still quite expensive. In our case we migrated data from OpenText Content Server to file-share. Pros The tool performed very well, and the Xillio support and services team as well. Multiple interfaces available. Once it is achieved to set up it works quite efficiently but needs the support of Xillio support team. Pros Xillio is pretty beneficial in migration to the cloud process with its various number of connectors that significantly accelerates the migration process and reduces the total migration time. Cons It is not possible to launch and run Xillio without technical support of Xillio team. During set up process we were entirely dependent on the technical support team and could not process without them. Pros Xillio makes it easy to manage the migration of multilingual content in the right way that it should be done. Cons Xillio's pricing plan is not transparent, there needs to be a modular pricing algorithm to at least have a prediction about the price without getting in contact with the support. Adds great value on our content management processes and we are happy with our experience so far. Cons Connectors library should be extended to support a more flexible data migration process. The tool performed very well, and the Xillio support and services team is really good to work with! Pros The Xillio migration product was extremely easy to deploy and had excellent performance during our migration projects. The insights components provide us with the information we need in order to accurately plan our migration and execute it successfully - it allows us to prioritize the content with which we will migrate, and easily identify duplicate documents across systems. The tools give us a great deal of control over our migration and allow for deep customizations to meet every customer's requirements. Cons The Xillio migration product is a relatively complex tool to use and customize. It can sometimes require a technical person (ie. software developer or technical migration engineer) to implement the required migration scripts. Pros Xilio stepped in to manage a content migration from Opentext Livelink into SharePoint. The software was set up and run within Xilio environment and the migration executed to our requirements. No matter how much we persisted with the clients paid 'support' from Micro Focus we weren't able to extract the clients data. In steps the team from Xillio and with their software and knowledge and were able to get all the required data extracted. Cons There was a slight mix-up on requiring the files previous versions that were not extracted in the initial job, but \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] from Xillio was only to happy to adjust their scripts and pull the data out. July 30, 2021 5.0 Zuyd wilde haar data migreren van de netwerkschijven en Corsa naar Teams / SharePoint. De data op de netwerkschijven diende gestructureerd en opgeschoond te worden alvorens het te migreren naar een vooraf bepaalde inrichting van Teams / SharePoint. Xillio heeft ons geholpen hier een helder plan van aanpak voor op te stellen en Zuyd in dit traject te begeleiden. Onder begeleiding van Xillio is er een pilot gedraaid met één academie. Op basis hiervan heeft Xillio een migratieplan voor de rest van de organisatie opgesteld. Pros De software van Xillio maakte het eenvoudig inzicht te krijgen in onze data. Dit betekende een vereenvoudiging van de data-analyse, -opschoning en -structurering, wat nodig was voor de migratie naar een andere applicatie. Cons Zelf hebben we niet aan de knoppen van de software "gedraaid". Zuyd vroeg en de zeer kundige Xillio-consultants "draaiden". Daarbij gaven zij advies over de meest efficiënte manier van aanpak. Reason for choosing Xillio In eerste instantie wilde Zuyd de data-analyse, -opschoning en migratie in eigen beheer uitvoeren. Dit bleek een zeer omvangrijke en complexe klus. Op aanbevelen van twee collega-hogescholen, die al eerder soortgelijke trajecten met Xillio waren gestart, hebben we deze opdracht aan Xillio uitbesteed.
