MasteryConnect Reviews
"Pros and Cons of Mastery Connect"
Overall: Overall, I would recommend Mastery Connect. It's a great place to keep track of your student's progress according to standards. It provides you with the digital copies of your curriculum's quizzes/tests. You can also create your own quizzes/tests, as well as share with and get ideas from other teacher's in your district on the tests/quizzes they are creating.
Pros: Mastery Connect has made is easy for me to track my student's progress according to each standard. It also allows me to create quizzes/tests, use ones from other teachers in my district, and or take advantage of ones from my district's curriculum choice.
Cons: Mastery Connect has a screen where it shows you all of your students and each standard for the subject you're teaching. The only con I have for Mastery Connect is that the score/color (red, yellow, green) it shows you is the last quiz/test the student took. Not an overall or combined score for all of the quizzes/tests they've taken under that standard. You
"Great app for student assessment."
Overall: I love that my students can take assessments online.
Pros: I love that students can easily be assessed on this app. There is a code specific to assessments that prevents students from taking a test until you give them the code. It is a student friendly program which they are able to master quickly.
Cons: Creating assessments is not teacher friendly. We need assessments that are linked to a text and I is difficult to link the two. Also, after a benchmark test, I would love to print out a copy to review. You can only print one question of the assessment at a time.
"Great extension for a variety of LMS"
Overall: It has been good so far. We are on our 2nd year.
Pros: I like the reporting aspect and the how it helps to analyze data by student groups
Cons: The rollout for some stakeholder groups was difficult. I would recommend a phased approach. Theban items is limited.
"A Wonderful Data Software "
Pros: I like how easy it is to have access to student success on assessments. I can gauge how well a student is doing at any given time for any standard.
Cons: Creating quizzes is sometimes cumbersome and time consuming.
