Project Manager Real Estate Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "Simple to use and great for organization" December 8, 2020 5.0 Overall, I am very pleased with the Constrafor platform. It has saved me time and organized my files in a better way than I would have otherwise. As aforementioned, I have spoken with their support team and they were very friendly and helpful. Pros Primarily, Constrafor provided an easy way for me to collect and track Certificates of Insurance (COIs) across my numerous projects. I no longer have to go into each project folder to find dfferent sub COIs to find out when they may be expiring, but rather just find all of them organized in one place on the platform. Constrafor also tracks the certificates expiration dates and send out email alerts to both my subcontractors and me prompting COI renewal, so I don't ever need to worry about a sub's insurance expiring without getting alerts up to 90 days ahead of time. I can focus on the details of my projects and put the COI tracking on autopilot. Cons It's somewhat of a personal preference, but the listing of all of my COIs could be condensed. With many projects, the list can get quite long. However, the company is early stage and has been receptive to my feedback when I reached out to them. Review Source GB Gigi B. Pros They are not pushy when it comes to meetings and the need for them. Cons One experience that stands out to me is when the help desk did not understand my request and ultimately I had to go to my direct account manager to get the issue resolved. To be fair, this resident engineer is very particular about formatting but it was still something about which i didnt have an answer except that that is how Constrafor formats the signatures. Pros Constrafor does a great job of streamlining the contract negotiation and subcontractor onboarding and management process. We have not utilized the full extent of their features but I know that they have the ability to scale with our company. Cons The most difficult part of utilizing Constrafor is the "buy in" from subcontractors. Frequently, we have to walk the contractors through the process which is a difficult process. I believe the user interface and messaging could be improved. Subcontractors want to hear directly from those using it rather than some company they have never heard of before. Pros I like how it can take the entire experience digital as far as tracking your certificates across the board. Cons I don't like how you cannot set the base requirements on any type of level for submissions. This will allow each subcontractor to see live what minimum requirements needs to be met as far as coverage and or amount for each policy. I also don't like how it wont accept a partial submission. Something is better than nothing and it is discouraging when you are trying to get subcontractors to utilize the platform. The team is agile and able to listen and adapt your business so their platform to help with the way you manage your process. The tools have brought synergies between departments that we may not have considered before. Our company appreciates the depth of knowledge that their team brings to the table. Pros The platform molded to our needs and has helped bring transparency to our supply chain. Everything is very easy to use and manage. I am excited for the different ways the platform will change the way we manage risk as an organization as new features and technology get implemented from their roadmap. Cons It is a young company and are competing with some entrenched legacy companies. Pros Easy to use and keeps us updated on what contracts need further review and attention. Cons I think I need more reminders to be circulated. December 3, 2024 5.0 As i said it has realled eased the collection of certs. The constrafor team has been very helpful with any doubt or question. They have been very professional from the off. Pros Constrafor has really streamlined the process of collecting COIS from subcontractors for every job. We no longer have to spend so much time chasing people with emails. Cons At the beginning it was hard to find certain things and also the fact that i cant remove a mistaken file that a subcontractor has uploaded. Review Source SH Stephanie H. We’ve been able to streamline our contract management process by collaboratively customizing the software to fit our specific needs to provide visibility into the status of our contracts and validify electronic signatures. Pros I like that the interface is simple, easy to read, and is very easy to sort. I loved that they worked with us and were engaged in the whole process. Cons All of the issues that we had with the service, have been resolved. So I have no dislikes!
