The constrafor team has been very helpful with any doubt or question. They have been very professional from the off. Pros Constrafor has really streamlined the process of collecting COIS from subcontractors for every job. We no longer have to spend so much time chasing people with emails. Cons At the beginning it was hard to find certain things and also the fact that i cant remove a mistaken file that a subcontractor has uploaded. Cons One experience that stands out to me is when the help desk did not understand my request and ultimately I had to go to my direct account manager to get the issue resolved. Subcontractors want to hear directly from those using it rather than some company they have never heard of before. Pros I like how it can take the entire experience digital as far as tracking your certificates across the board. Cons I don't like how you cannot set the base requirements on any type of level for submissions. This will allow each subcontractor to see live what minimum requirements needs to be met as far as coverage and or amount for each policy. I also don't like how it wont accept a partial submission. Something is better than nothing and it is discouraging when you are trying to get subcontractors to utilize the platform. Alternatives considered [myCOI](https://www.capterra.com/p/234580/myCOI/) Reasons for choosing Constrafor They responded more quickly and we needed to role out something immediately. It also linked with another software we utilize (procore), but we are unable to use that option at this time. To be fair, this resident engineer is very particular about formatting but it was still something about which i didnt have an answer except that that is how Constrafor formats the signatures. Pros Constrafor does a great job of streamlining the contract negotiation and subcontractor onboarding and management process. We have not utilized the full extent of their features but I know that they have the ability to scale with our company. Cons The most difficult part of utilizing Constrafor is the "buy in" from subcontractors. Frequently, we have to walk the contractors through the process which is a difficult process. I believe the user interface and messaging could be improved.
